You want something modern, boutique or fancy? Don't go to Atlanta. The hotel is a little outdated and a little noisy. Do you want to go to a nice family-owned and friendly hotel with cosy rooms close to the centre with reasonable priced rooms? I'd recommend Atlanta! The rooms are small, but tidy and clean. Breakfast is good and dinner was excellent. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Despite being busy they still make time for you to help you. Their website shows it all. What you see is what you get.

We stayed for 2 nights in December for the Chris**as Markets. Myself, husband and 2 children stayed in a family room; my mum stayed in a Single. Both rooms were spacious enough for the number of guests: the family room was excellent! We equipped including toys and activities, 3 childrens' beds in a bedroom that was adjoining the main room but separate enough that they weren't disturbed by the TV. The only let-down is that it is next to the lift which means noisy guests late/early as they check-in/out. The breakfast choice was sufficient but *********** lists this as a 4* Hotel and, for 4* and the cost of breakfast, I don't think it catered for enough different tastes (the only complaint). That said, they didn't charge for breakfast for my 2 children (aged 6 and 2), so it still worked out to be good value. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to the markets, to the grottos, mergelrijk and for watching the Chris**as Parade at Walramplein. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other families and would happily stay there again.

Een top verblijf! Het personeel is heel erg gastvriendelijk, een goed ontbijt, helpen je waar nodig en het ligt perfect gelegen bij de leuke en gezellige kroegjes, de grotten en de kabelbaan. Enig minpuntje was dat het behoorlijk gehorig was…

Heerlijk gegeten en geslapen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een schone kamer. Vooral de kok en de ober hebben erg goed voor ons gezorgd. Direct aan de rand van het centrum en vlak bij kasteelruïne en grot. Voor ons zeker een plek om nog eens terug te komen!

Mijn recente verblijf in dit hotel was opnieuw een warme omhelzing van gastvrijheid en charme. Ondanks zijn leeftijd ademt het hotel nog steeds een authentieke sfeer uit, dankzij de familie die het al meer dan 50 jaar met liefde runt. Het personeel en de eigenars zijn de echte sterren hier, altijd klaar om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Hoewel het hotel misschien niet de nieuwste voorzieningen heeft, wordt dat ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de hartelijke ontvangst en het tijdloze karakter van deze bijzondere plek. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een unieke ervaring met een vleugje nostalgie.

slechte bedden, 2 zeer zachte matrassen van 70cm breed met een gleuf van 10cm ertussen en kussens die van beton leken, zo hard, schimmel in de badkamer, vieze onderbroek onder de verwarming, ontbijt met oude en droge croissantjes bovenop de nieuwe. Zonder toestemming de auto verplaatst, sleutels verplicht inleveren bij inchecken. Wakker om 07.30 door bouwvakkers, luide muziek,steigerbuizen en hard gepraat. Zeer onvriendelijke eigenaresse die alle schuld bij de gasten, de schoonmaak of de bouwvakkers legt en niet haar excuses aan kan bieden. Zeggen dat je gecompenseerd wordt met de rekening maar ze is zo aan het schuiven met de rekeningen dat je als klant de weg kwijt raakt en bij thuiskomst blijk je alleen 1 dag gratis parkeren te krijgen terwijl je beloofd was korting te krijgen op de drankjes. Koffie en thee is blijkbaar na 18.00 niet meer gratis die je beneden zelf moet zetten bij de voordeur. Ligging is wel perfect, het eten was lekker en de man van de bediening was geweldig

Vriendelijk familie hotel,ook vriendelijk personeel,hotel ligt heel centraal makkelijk bereikbaar,maaltijden prima ik was er op halfpension basis,kamer prima grote,voor mij alleen 2 persoons bed uitstekend,dagelijks schone handdoeken,totaal plaatje was goed

Fijne jaarwisseling hier mogen vieren. Oudejaarsavond van een heerlijk diner mogen genieten met nadien een heel gezellig feest met muziek. Vuurwerk en bubbels om 12 uur en daarna verder met het feest. In de kleine uurtjes naar onze fijne kamer. En heel wat later een lekker ontbijtbuffet. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Locatie top. Personeel, niet klantvriendelijk, empatisch, consequent of adequaat. Het eten is niet bijzonder en als je het ergens niet mee eens bent, wordt er een naald in je bed verstopt door personeel.
