This is a beautiful hotel with incredible scenery with llamas and alpacas wandering around. It’s delightful and welcoming, the staff is so nice taking care of us in every possible way. The food was just wonderful! I had a massage and it was so good and I recommend that if you were in this hotel. It was an experience I will never forget

My friends and I experienced beautiful generous rooms with excellent bathrooms to authentic fine dining to luxurious grounds and full spa amenities. The entire staff was professional and very polite. I learned from the front desk manager, Abel, that the river running along the back of the property is the scared Umbama River. The stone work adorning the sweeping grounds are part of the Inca antiquities being protected and curated. ADA compliance noted: ramps, elevator, level door entrances.

This beautiful hotel is nestled at the foot of a mountain by a section of the Urubamba river. I had a room with two queens and it was quite spacious. The grounds are beautiful especially in the back of the hotel. It is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The downside is you cannot walk to shops and will need transportation if you dine somewhere else. Nevertheless, the serene environment was much more attractive to me.

Fantastic location, beautiful views of the mountains and river. luxurious rooms, amenities and incredible food. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. I’ve stayed here three times and it’s always a wonder experience. Magical place to stay. Highly recommend

This hotel is one of my favorite places on Earth. This is my second time staying there, and it is truly a magical experience. I also stayed at the Tapikala hotels in Cusco and Lake Titicaca, and I will never stay anywhere else in my visits to Peru, I give the brand my highest recommendation!

The grounds, rooms, service and staff are all incredible. The gift shops have such high quality and beautiful items thanks to Placido Sr and Jr, Maria and Marcusa. Special shout out to Abel and the front desk team, and the restaurant team Edith and Moises! Can’t wait to be back.

Loved my stay at this hotel! The room was clean and spacious when I arrived with house keeping being very polite and attentive during my stay here. The hotel grounds is quite large making it nice to sit around either sipping complementary tea in the lobby or to go outside to watch the hotel’s llama’s, alpaca’s, sheep’s, and goat graze on grass. The concierge Abel was very helpful throughout our stay and even suggested activities such as feeding the baby alpaca. The hotel restaurant had fantastic food for dinner and the breakfast buffet had a great rotating selection. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Urubamba!

We stayed here for seven nights in July 2024. The hotel building and grounds are top quality. The service is excellent. The restaurant is great, we ate there every night because it was so good. While downtown Urubamba is not a tourist town at all, go see the market and especially the Wednesday market.

beautiful hotel on the way to machu picchu. overlooking a river! staff is really nice and the rooms are really big. ours had a soaking tub with jets! pisco sours were great. they even let us give milk to the baby llama! the pool was lovely as well.
