Close to the beach ! Amazing place ! The people at the reception was very nice and give us some cereals ! Thanks again to her ! Possibility to do our laundry also. Comfy bed !

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry back to the mainland. Found this more in *********** and the reviews were favourable - it’s only for one night, after all. The motel is in a great location - quiet, close to the esplanade and is only a 15-20min walk from the CBD. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well appointed with a toaster and fridge - even had washing-up liquid and a tea towel. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The wifi was very reliable as well. The only reason why we’re not giving this fine place a 5/5 is because the bed was not firm enough, or mattress needed changing. The staff was very friendly and helpful - we arrived 20mins early, and this person went to the office to get us our key - even offered us an upgrade. We highly recommend this place.

Checked into this Motel for two nights today. Quite an old Motel but was greeted by Lizette in reception who was helpful, friendly and professional. What a difference it makes to be looked after by such a lovely person. Got to my room and inside it is comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Although I'm not sailing on the Spirit, this is an ideal place to stay prior to sailing. I recommend to to all people and will have no hesitation in staying here again.

One night stay in an older style motel complex but functional. Complex appeared rather full which is always good to see, and we were upgraded to an upstairs room which was spacious. Stairs leading up were very steep and tread depth too small. The bottom of railing could have done with a clean from accumulated bird droppings. Free wifi always a bonus. Is close to the harbour entrance to watch sunrise / sunset and in walking distance to the surf club for a nice breakfast and coffee. Its a 10-15 minute stroll to the centre of Devonport for an evening meal. A list of recommended close by restaurants provided by owner was appreciated. Note older Tripadvisor reviews indicate onsite restaurant - this is now closed, but we were aware of this before booking.

We checked in very late off the Spirit of Tasmania and so we were only in the motel for less than ten hours. The room was clean, the water in the shower hot with good flow however the mattress on the bed was old, soft and very uncomfortable resulting in a very poor nights sleep. Overall, the motel is reasonably priced however I won’t stay again because of the mattress issue. The owners seemed pleasant and friendly.

We stayed here for one night during our brief passing through of Devonport. The rooms are reasonably priced and you certainly get a good deal for the money. The staff are very friendly and hardworking. The rooms clean and tidy with some useful complimentary items such as biscuits and cereal. Would recommend
