Overall a good stay. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Location for what I required in town was pretty good.

The man at the desk was friendly,cleaner also nice.Rooms great ,bathroom clean and had a nice swim . Yes l will come again

Clean and fairly recently updated motel - nothing extraordinary, but very neat and tidy! Bed was decent, pillows could do with updating... Shower was great! Delivered breakfast was as described - good eggs. Will definitely stay again!

Manager quite friendly and helpful upon arrival. Units clean, basic and relatively comfortable although starting to age a little. A little noise from other occupants talking outside but that has nothing to do with the motel itself. Good location for what we required personally. No or very bad internet reception available. Worst aspect is the birds: seagulls, ibises etc landing and depositing their 'calling cards' on your vehicle which is parked in the open under shade cloth. Hence, you will need to find a carwash later on. Possibly part of the problem are people feeding the birds thereby encouraging them to hang around.

Friendly check in service, clean room. No free WiFi though, it costs an extra fee and no food service but close to restaurants.

The staff couldn’t be reached when needed and still in the open hours time. Tried to ring as well as walking over to office. Their was still hair in the shower from previous guests. The hair dryer supplied tripped the PowerPoints

Aircon doesn't work, and 2 x bedside lamps didn't work.

Great Service Very Friendly & Clean

Being new years there weren't many options along the GC and Tweed so this booking was based on availability and location to airport. If travelling at another time of year without the elevated prices then you might be closer to getting value for what you paid. We needed a late check in and they were able to leave a key in the lock box which was handy. The room was like many motels, although the decor was very dated and mismatched. The textures and patterns which clashed across the room was quite something! We only had the one night stay and you wouldnt want any longer. If passing through on a long drive or in our case a shortage of other options then its do-able but otherwise there are better places to stay.

We selected Calico Court Motel, as it suited our budget, location is very central… within walking distance to town and provides free parking with commercial heavy shade sails – mind you, the shade sails gives the place a refreshing, cool look about it. I was greeted by Daniel, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating – too eager to help you with where to dine or if you need something, not to hesitate to ask. Our motel room was cozy, very clean, has all the necessities you need (body wash / shampoo, coffee/tea condiments, air con and the necessary appliances), to make your stay comfortable. We were only there for an overnight stay, a place to rest and continue on with our travels, which met our requirements satisfactorily and we had a good night’s sleep. There’s nothing much going on in Tweed Heads but you do have a few places to select to dine out. May I suggest South Tweed Sports Club (approximately a ten-minute walk) for dinner and highly recommend Riverland – All Day Breakfast & Coffee, Lunch, Burgers (approximately, half an hour walk – we drove instead) for breakfast - an amazing, super breakfast awaits to start your day. I recommend Calico Court Motel, a great place to rest, conveniently close to town and what you get for the price, which is budget friendly, you can’t complain – perfectly designed for travelers.

Ripped Off ..... nothing in the place worked ,Bed lamp not working , Radio not working Cracked hand basin, over priced ,too much old furniture jammed in to small room, give this one a miss you won't be sorry

We visited to watch the Gold Coast Suns play at Metricon (now Heritage Bank) Stadium. This is a really good quality hotel for the price. Location is very central (bus stop only 300m away) and service is really friendly and helpful. Daniel was particularly brilliant, as I didn't want to sleep in the same bed as my (adult-sized) teen, so he organised a very comfy foldout bed. The bathroom is actually almost too good for the room - very snazzy. Air-conditioning works fine (very important for us Mexicans form Melbourne) Cozy, compact and surprisingly quiet overnight. If planning on sleeping during the day, bring earplugs, as it's right on the road. The blockout curtains were pleasantly effective too :) Can be a little challenging to get through on the phone, but persist and he will answer eventually. Perfect for 1-2 night stays! Go Suns!

Noisy, smelly room, dirty lounge, uncomfortable bed, awful linen. It is cheap but much better options available. Noise from upstairs room started before dawn and road noise means you won't get any sleep at all.
