Conveniently located near the waterfront. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Perfect for a short stay in Tromsø.

The facilities is very good, it has common kitchen and area. Also it provides free tea and coffee and snacks. However the common kitchen closes at 10:00pm, it a bit inconvenient for that. The WiFi is also a bit weak, sometime phone cannot connect.

The hotel is super clean and smells great. The two beautiful ladies at the counter are really cool. I’ll say, if I come back to Tromsø, I will only stay at this place!

Great location, not far from the center of the town and not far from the best restaurants! nice repeptionist! there is only one bathroom and one shower on each floor, which can be too little at times. Worked out for us tho! We were able to see the northern lights from our window!

We had really bad experience in this hotel. I don't understand how this hotel could have a good review, small and smelly rooms, bugs in the bed, dirty and old kitchen. When we checked in and went to the room there were a rubbish in the bathroom, smelly and very small room, there were not even space to open the suitcase, but that is not the worse yet. First night we had bed bugs in the bed and I had a lot of bites. We inform to the reception and the receptionist kindly move us to another hotel, but the damage was already done I got Cellulitis infection from the bites, pain, itchiness. We asked to talk to the manager and the receptionist tell us that there were not a manager at that time but she would inform them about this matter. I went to the emergency and I have been hospitalised for the severity of the infection. We were in Tromso only for 3 days to see the northern lights but I spent my time in the Hospital. We never been contacted by the management at this matter until we sent 2 emails to them and finally got an answer. They refund the hotel stay, which was very logic and never paid the pharmacy bill and did not answering to my email any more. I only get 2 emails from them, one of which saying that they are closing the case. After being back I still had to take antibiotics for one week and wasn't able to work. We are very disappointed of that unprofessional and ignoring treat. I leave this long comment in here because I don't want any other guests go through the same that I went through. That was the worse hotel experience I ever had.

I do not understand the bad reviews of this hostel. We loved it so much. 6 min walking distance to the center. A bus stop 5-6 min walk from the hostel to go to other islands/airport/mountain etc. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Good heating for the the cold. Big windows with good lighting. Small area with coffe/hot chocolate/tea/cookies 24/7. They have hair drier that can be borrowed from reception. They help you find whatever you are looking for in Tromso and give you plenty of recommendations. The receptionist are super lovely, specially Andrea she went far and beyond to make our stay wonderful. And people who complain about the price 1) if it's booked last minute of course it will be more expensive it's common sense and 2) it's Norway, a coffe cost me 7 pounds, what do you expect? . We honestly were surprised by the low price compared to the rest of accomodations in Tromso

Lovely staff, amazing hosting in this lovely city. Our host had very warm welcome and gold recommandation to see the northern light and enjoy the city as much as possible despite a very rainy weather in this end of august. We were here between hikes on Senja and sommarhoy

Ottima esperienza in questa struttura che si trova a 5 minuti dal centro di Tromsø, dove sono ubicati tutti i ristoranti, negozi di souvenir, ecc… Le camere piccole ma ordinate e carine e soprattutto pulite. C’è anche una cucina comune dove poter lasciare le proprie cose e cucinare qualcosa, e una sola dove mangiare e dove la struttura ti offre bevande e biscotti. Alle 17 compare anche l’angolo waffle!!!! Un grande grazie alla ragazza della reception, gentilissima e prodiga di consigli.
