Aeolos Bay Tinos

The hotel is in an excellent location about 10 minute walk from the main town. It is opposite a beach with nice views. We booked a junior suite with a sea view (via a Tour Operator). Not much ‘suite’ about it but it was acceptable. More pool /side sea view than sea view but better than overlooking the street at the back of the hotel. The room had a large double bed, a fridge, chairs, table, TV and full length mirror. There are no enclosed wardrobe spaces, just open hanging areas and shelves. There is a safe, which did not work. The balcony was small by ok with two chairs and small table. The bathroom was very dark, internal with no windows and offered a strange walk in shower that looked like it had been carved from faux rock. Whilst it was was cleaned it didn’t feel it due to the paint colours used an off white grey colour. Small hairdryer in bathroom - again OK if you are not looking to do any great hairstyling. The room needs updating but air con good and room cleaned daily and quite early. Plentiful hot water. There is not much around the property but we found a small mini market a couple of roads behind the hotel which did not show on Google maps. The hotel has two lifts. Again quite dated but were out of use one morning due to ongoing power cuts. The public areas are again tired and ‘messy’ with electric bikes charging by the bar. The bar did snacks and drinks but the as not fully manned and the hotel bar closed at 20:00. Bar food and drinks acceptable, but the menu reduced towards the end of the week. The pool bar was closed for the whole week of our stay. Breakfast is basic and you can sit outside on the terrace. It was exceptionally busy during our stay with a bus tour and lots of pushing and shoving to get the last piece of bread! The pool is again acceptable. Salt water. Ranging from about a metre to 2.5 metres. Relatively quiet during our stay other than the local children who were allowed to fine in and use the pool in the afternoon. The noise was unbearable pure screaming and any chance of reading and enjoying a relaxing afternoon was not possible. The hotel should think carefully about the satisfaction of their guests first. Not that many sun beds but they were comfortable with food fixed parasols. A shower is available and there are toilets. The area again is OK but needs a good clean. Drinks and coffee has been spilt and not cleaned up. Staff were responsive and friendly and assisted if asked for help. The positives are definitely location but the hotel could be excellent with a little attention.

This hotel suited us for a short stay in Tinos and the location was great, really near the main harbour. We stayed in a standard triple room, it was small and quite basic and wouldn't have been suitable for a longer stay (we stayed for 2 nights). The air conditioner was old and would drip water on to one of the beds each night, as well as overflowing on to the small balcony. The breakfast was quite limited but the staff were all really friendly and kind. The pool was nice, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, but the area did smell of old water quite a lot. The true highlight was the restaurant which was very reasonable and the food was delicious.

We stayed her for four nights in August. I booked a standard triple room . If our room was standard I dread to think what an economy room was like. Our room whilst clean was very basic, two people couldn't pass one another. The balcony was tiny 3 of you could not sit outside and you would have to get the door open first. Breakfast was very poor cheap pastries and nasty coffee. We didn't go in the pool there was a constant area of scum which staff frequently removed surely better to fix the issue. The pool man was convinced it was suncream. There seemed to be too many staff and the service was not good. Positives good location and lunch was pretty good

Nice hotel, with comfortable and clean premises. The employees very pleasant, kind and willing to provide good services. The location is really convenient, around 5' from the center. The breakfast was in a medium level.... more options/dishes should be added in the future. Fully recommended if you visit Tinos island!

A lovely location for a family holiday. 10 min walk into town, sandy beach just down the road, accessible bus routes to local beaches, very helpful staff. Rooms kept cleaned every day. Overall if you’re vacating to Tinos, this hotel is recommended for an easy and relaxed stay.

These couldn’t have been more helpful. We left our hotel we had booked as it was disgusting and popped in on the off chance they had rooms available. The staff were so helpful in sorting rooms for the four of us. For 3 days. The ladies on reception were fabulous and the young lady who works the bar was lovely. It was great to see the groundsman taking pride every morning in keeping the pool clean too. Not a great beach opposite but ten minute walk into town was fab.

The hotel is situated 10 min. away from the city in a very quite area with a beautiful sea view . The beach in front of the hotel is rocky but there are several beaches nearby and also there is a swimming pool at the hotel. The staff and the receptionist were polite and helpfull at all times. Thank you all . We had great time at Tinos island .See you next year!

We booked 3 days prior to our arrival in May, and found that the staff were so very helpful. They collected us from the ferry, were able to cater for my allergy (Coeliac) and gave us good advice on where to go. They even lent me an adapter so I could charge my phone as I had left mine behind at the previous hotel. Breakfast was good, and plenty of it. The hotel is far enough from the town to be quiet, but close enough to walk to, about 10-15 mins. Thank you

We were picked up from the port and taken to this attractively-situated hotel overlooking the sea. Our room was good with a balcony with sea view and there is a lovely garden with swimming pool and bar. However, the service at breakfast was chaotic. In an effort to be covid-friendly the individual items were served from counters which caused huge queues. The coffee machine did not work and there was a small electric kettle provided for people to make tea or coffee which, again, was chaotic.There was no fresh fruit and a very poor choice of items. This could be a lovely hotel with a bit of care and attention.
