Stay was ok. Staff all nice. Hotel is dated and very much showing its age! My room was next to a fire door in the corridor and all night long I was woken by it banging

Room very spartan and poorly equipped. Notice says ‘Ring reception for assistance’ but no phone provided. Only one chair in a double room. Shower liable to flood and extractor not working. Bed very firm and could do with a softer ‘Topper’. Lovely food spoiled by being served on cold plates.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas and had no issues with breakfast.
A few features in the room and bathroom were slightly outdated but worked perfectly fine, just a contrast to how modern everything else looks

Beautiful setting .friendly receptionist easy book in arrived early for a wedding and was accommodated a room . Clean spacious rooms

Lady on reception welcoming and efficient. Staff who served me in bar and restaurant polite and efficient. Room clean, bathroom modern and clean.

Food over all wasn’t great and overpriced for what it was. Room was clean for the most part. Found hair on the bed. Towel rail in the bathroom was hanging off the wall and wiring was well dodgy. Panel at the bottom of the shower was very loose. Water pressure in the hot tap was non existent. Tables in the bar were sticky. Very hot hotel all over. Turned the heating off in room for it to make a most loud and annoying siren like noise when it tried to turn on. This happened three times one night and most guests experienced this. Very very loud. No hooks to hang towels and clothes in the bathroom. Lighting not great and in one of the rooms there was just a light as you came into the room. Reception staff were great as was Ian.

All Staff really polite, Food was lovely but maybe more variety, although sea bass was gorgeous.

The hotel was good, room clean and bed comfortable. However the stay was ruined due to being in a room with a locked door connecting to the next room. As a result of this there was no sound protection from the other room. I was woken up at around 5:30 am as occupant of the room next door was using the hair dryer and the noise was very loud as if in the same room. Ruined my sleep and ruined my overall experience at the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding nearby. Bed was huge and comfortable; staff very helpful; breakfast was excellent and dinner on first night good.
Room was clean and comfortable, but decor in need of some updating. Very large car park, so parking easy and free
