When our original hotel had a fire, and they canceled our reservation, we were set up in The Burnside Hotel and it was incredible! Staff and accommodations were perfect. We could not have been more thrilled by this quiet and beautiful hotel!

What a wonderful hotel this is ! I have just returned from a two night break and already can’t wait to go back. The hotel is absolutely spotless , modern in design and situated about a 25 minute walk away from the town centre. The staff were all amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous too very comfortable beds and a fantastic shower We had breakfast included which was cooked to order and delicious. We also had dinner included on our first night which was so good we booked to eat there again on our second night ! There was a pub which was part of the hotel situated within the grounds, again great food and drinks could be had. It had a lovely veranda area outside and should the weather have been better we would have spent much more time there ! I cannot fault this hotel and wonderful staff in any way and would recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to all.

Just spent 3days at burnside hotel fabulous spotlessly clean excellent food. Staff were so friendly . Perhaps if your on the travel zoo deal an option to pay a supplement for something off the main menu would give more choices. Really comfortable beds and excellent pillows .

We booked through Travelzoo for a 2 night stay for ourselves and our friends. Unfortunately my friend passed away over Christmas so I tried to cancel their room only through Travelzoo who said it wouldn’t be a problem but we’d need confirmation of cancellation from the hotel. I explained the circumstances to the manager at the hotel and said we wanted to cancel one room as my wife and I would still come. After giving me the runaround for a couple of weeks the outcome was that they refused to accept the cancellation. They did say we could change the dates at which point I reiterated that my friend had died and wouldn’t be coming back any time soon. Luckily we eventually received a full refund for both rooms from Travelzoo themselves who understood our situation. No thanks to the management at this hotel.

This little gem was perfect for our girly break away. Misty was so accommodating, got our room ready early for us and bought our cream tea to the room. We were allocated a twin bedded room with a little terrace, table & chairs, behind the pub, it was amazing. Super comfy beds, spotlessly clean, perfect little tea/coffee station. Dinner was really tasty and the breakfast choices amazing! All the staff were very friendly and remembered who we were. I’d definitely stay here again, thank you Burnside Hotel, you made our weekend! 🩷

We had a superb time at the Burnside. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was top notch. A total battery recharge. It’s so comfortable. Spotlessly clean, excellent bed. Superb food. Nothing to fault. We will be back without a doubt. Perfectly located. A lovely walk into Stratford

This is a delightful hotel which was very stylish and comfortable. We had a very nice room , extremely clean. The food was very very good, the curry night was delicious and breakfast was such great quality- highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel and we’ll certainly be back

The Burnside is a lovely little hotel where the staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The food is very good and there is a casual place to eat right next door. It worked out very well for our tour group and I would recommend it if you are in the area.

Burnside Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were very professional and polite. The room was spotless. Everything you needed in the room. The restaurant was lovely and the food was excellent. When we visit Stratford again we will definitely stay here.
