Good hotel well located just off the M6. Easy check in, big family room this time. Last time standard sized one. Clean but weird older hotels have usb ports but this one doesn’t. Minor thing but tip to bring your own plugs plus a cable that can reach over a double bed. Normal pub on site for food and drink and the breakfast. TGI just over the road as well and a Tesco just behind so well located.

Bedroom smelt like it hadn't been cleaned in years, even took a takeaway back to the room to hid the smell!

I'd like to thank Aimee for welcoming us to the hotel. Such a lovely and friendly young lady and always smiling and ready to help. Lovely breakfast and room. Everything you'd expect from a premier inn. The hotel was a good location for nearby activities and only 35mins from Alton towers. Thanks again.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Stoke Hanley and was left feeling disappointed. Despite being a loyal customer for years, my experience here fell far short of my expectations. We made a very long trip from Newquay (6 hour drive) to Alton Towers and decided to have an overnight stay at this hotel. We were exhausted by the end of the day. All we wanted to do was get some rest. I travelled with my husband and 4 children. On arrival we found that the air conditioning unit was not working. It was a very hot day and the room temperature was 28 degrees. The room temperature made it very difficult for us to get any rest or sleep. Despite reporting the issue to reception multiple times, the air conditioning unit was not fixed. They offered solutions, such as a small desk fan, which was totally inadequate and made no difference at all. When we requested a change of room, we were informed that the alternative had a faulty shower. This left us in a difficult situation, as both options were less than ideal. The staff at the hotel were polite, but the service provided did not meet the standards I have come to expect from Premier Inn. For years my go to hotel has always been premier inn. I have a trip to London planned next week and I am very hesitant now and have started looking at other hotel chains to stay inn. I did report this to guest relations and they offered me £35 pounds which was a partial refund on what I paid. I appreciate the partial refund however at the same time do not feel it is good enough, my girls and I were so exhausted and it was midnight by the time our issue was sorted and we could finally get some sleep. I'm really disappointed and do not think I would pick premier inn again. I feel the service they used to give is really not the same anymore.

Premier Inn advertise a “Good Nights Sleep Guarantee” or get a refund for the disturbed nights sleep. On 27/07/24 our sleep was disturbed by a midnight fire alarm. As a disabled man this is a real issue. I claimed for the refund, which I have been told today, has been rejected, and referred me to the small print. So much for the misleading advert. What is the Good Night Guarantee? At Premier Inn, we're so confident you'll have a great night's sleep that if you don't, you can claim for a refund on the affected night. If there’s a problem, just have a chat with a member of our friendly reception team. They’ll be happy to put things right and if they can’t address the issue they’ll let you know how you can claim.

I have stayed in lots of premier inns and hilton hotels and have always boosted to colleagues and friends that Premier inn is at the same level. Unfortunately, the Stoke premier inn was dirty and unorganised. There was mildew everywhere in the bathroom and the toilets were unwashed. The towels we were given were torn and there was dust build up in the rooms. Altogether a very unpleasant stay!! Really really below the standard of various Premier Inns I have stayed in. .

On arrival book in was very easy, laity on reception was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, comfortable and well presented. Check out was very easy. Very well priced so all in all provided everything we needed

We stay at Premier Inn Hanley several times a a year when we visit family. The staff in hotel and restaurant were excellent as usual - friendly and helpful. But the computer system failed to send our meal bookings through to the restaurant, I think this happened last time. Hotel reception took their print out into the restaurant to sort it out. My doctor has ordered me off any form of caffeine. That's not usually a problem; except that this time both the hotel and the restaurant were out of decaf drinks. Apparently the decaf drinks are ordered but never arrives. I went to B&M over the road and bought a jar of decaf on the day we arrived. And on our second night the restaurant manager gave me a jar. I don't know whether she had sent out for it or what

Traveled from Sweden to attend Stoke City FC premiere 24/25. Stayed at the Premier Inn in Hanley, can be recommended.

Room was nicely presented. Very comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will have no hesitation in staying again.

Great rooms and clean rooms, lovely staff, Hadleigh ensured that we could check out a few hours later, thank you for this .we will definitely come back here. Hotel is centrally located near festival park and Tesco superstore and has ample parking.

Booking in was a nightmare to room being ready and then not ready! Room was boiling air con not working the room ended up being 27 degrees, there were no fans left to be used, reception said they knew the air con wasn’t working but couldn’t move us rooms as we were only staying one night! There was myself, my husband and our 6 year old who also suffers with ADHD he didn’t sleep all night!

Rosie couldn't have been more helpful both the day before and of arrival. I'd had problems amending my booking, which looked at one point like it was cancelled. I called the evening before and Rosie was able to confirm that it looked like I did have a room booked but to call first thing the following morning to check. I called the morning of arrival and again, a lady was able to confirm there was a booking in my name despite my booking reference number suggesting the booking was cancelled. Upon arrival I was greeted by Rosie who has remembered me and was very polite and accommodating during check in. She even provided complimentary breakfasts as I'd had such a worry the night before! This particular Premier Inn is always as place to stay when we visit Alton Towers and as usual it was clean and tidy with friendly staff. Thank you Rosie for making a slightly stressful start to our trip, enjoyable in the end.

I’ve stayed at Premier Inn’s before, mainly due to knowing what to expect. This was no exception except for a very noisy floor above us which stopped our kids going to sleep which was a shame. Otherwise no issues
