This place is a little piece of paradise. Away from the hustle and bustle and is quiet and calm. The beach is a few steps away. Although it’s not a swimming or tanning beach, you can make the most of your time there. I found a quiet spot on the beach and still enjoyed every second of it. The staff were all so friendly and go out of their way to help you and meet your needs. The breakfast was lovely! A variety of choices, that fill you up for the day of adventure ahead. The villa itself is large and spacious. The pool is just enough to cool off after a hot time on the beach. I will definitely be back when I’m in Samui again!

Great hotel by the beach! Our room was more towards the street rather than beachfront but it was a great central location and the room was huge and beautiful! Great air conditioning and a nice patio with 2 chairs and a table for us to enjoy our coffee. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and available 24 hours. We checked in late at 10pm so this was a nice feature to have them on site!

Das Hotel mit den kleinen Bungalows ist sehr schön direkt am Chaweng Strand gelegen. Auf dieser Seite von Samui kann man wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge beobachten. Den nahegelegene Flughafen merkt man an den Flugzeugen die über den Strand fliegen. Das inkludierte Frühstück kann man jeden Morgen selbst wählen (kein buffet) aus einer Auswahl aus asiatischen Gerichten und Omelette oder müsli. Auch ist man direkt in der Nähe vom Central Einkaufscenter und somit auch da recht zentral gelegen. Die Bungalows mit einzelbetten sind recht eng, mit Doppelbett ist etwas großzügiger. Sehr schön ist auch die kleine Terrasse, wo man Richtung Meer blicken kann. Ein kleines Manko würde ich in den Strandlliegen sehen. Diese sind aus Plastik und leider ohne Auflage. Zudem werden die Liegen auch an Hotelfremde, dann für 100 Baht vermietet. Das hat zur Folge, dass man sich auch als Hotelgast früh um die Schattenplätze bemühen muss.

Location: short walk to lots of bars/restaurants but just out of the way so you cant hear any noise. 30 seconds to the beach but be aware there are those annoying Europeans who leave towels on chairs but hardly use them. The beach is clean here. Take mosquito spray in the evening. I was given an upgrade to the B block - if you book a room in C block you will be closest to the road so may hear noise there. I was about half way between the road and the beach and couldn't hear any road noise at all, but the rooms have thin walls so you will hear other guests if they stay up late talking loudly. Service was very good - room cleaned every day, bottled water etc all topped up daily. Motorbike rental just 250 baht a day, no deposit so book through reception for a much easier and safer booking experience. Very efficient and friendly staff. The room is a good size and yes a little old but totally acceptable for me - i am not particularly fussy if I feel i am getting what i pay for and this hotel felt like excellent value for money, i'm happy i stayed there and would book again. Ask for instructions on the safe as none are provides (press the reset button inside the back of the door, enter your new 4 digit pin followed by #). Get the wifi password from reception as it isn't provided in the room. *IMPORTANT* Some renovation work is going on now (from 20th Dec) - a few rooms being renovated on B block so there could be noise between 9 or 10am to 6pm, check before you book!

However, the pool could have been cleaner, and there were limited lounge chairs available, especially during peak hours. The on-site restaurant had a decent menu, but the food was a bit on the expensive side for what you got. It would be nice to have more dining options nearby. Location (3/5): It is located a bit further from the main attractions in the area, so you'll need a car to get around. This could be a downside for some, but it's also quieter and away from the crowds. If you're looking for a more secluded experience, it might be a plus. Value for Money (3/5): The pricing at this resort is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. It's not a luxury resort, so if you're looking for a budget-friendly option, it's a decent choice. In summary, this is a middle-of-the-road resort. It's not going to blow you away, but it's clean, the service is good, and it offers an affordable place to stay. If you're not too concerned with luxury and just need a place to sleep while exploring the area, it's worth considering.

The resort is clean and cozy. The staffs are mostly friendly and approachable. I believe it’s the best location for me as I can go to the beach on one end and the other end I can go straight easily to the Mall. Location is quite convenient and it was not hard to get a grab at all. Breakfast selection was great with a great view.

Great position right on a nice part of the beach. Lovely clean swimming pool. Staff at the pool bar friendly. We were in the old building and the room was very dark when the sun went down. There was no way to read in your room after dark with so few lights. Air con was noisy . Had a great balcony and I would stay again just take my torch and ear plugs.

Good location, not bad, could be better if a few steps from the beach. Not far from a night market where you can eat well. That said, it's not common but the food at the hostel is super good at a very competitive rate. Don't look elsewhere! You've got all the food you need on site

Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome. The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng. The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.
