NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhThis place is a little piece of paradise. Away from the hustle and bustle and is quiet and calm. The beach is a few steps away. Although it’s not a swimming or tanning beach, you can make the most of your time there. I found a quiet spot on the beach and still enjoyed every second of it. The staff were all so friendly and go out of their way to help you and meet your needs. The breakfast was lovely! A variety of choices, that fill you up for the day of adventure ahead. The villa itself is large and spacious. The pool is just enough to cool off after a hot time on the beach. I will definitely be back when I’m in Samui again!

The positives:
The location is definitely great—right on the beach and close to everything in Koh Samui.
Check-in was quick and easy.
The facilities, especially the pool and beach area, are nice and lively during the day.
The negatives (and they outweigh the positives):
Noise: Sleeping here is nearly impossible unless you’re planning to be out partying all night yourself. It’s not just the music (which I expected), but the guests—people shouting in the hallways at 3am and again at 6am, waking me up both nights.
Cleanliness: Honestly unacceptable. The bed sheets were stained, had hairs, and even bugs. The bathroom was filthy—handprints on the mirror, used cotton buds on the floor, and grime in the shower. I called to have it cleaned, but they only changed the bed sheets.
Customer Service: When I told the manager about the room at checkout, her response was just “sorry, no one told me,” which doesn’t really cut it. Only after I mentioned leaving a review did she offer a “free breakfast voucher”—which was a joke, as it didn’t even cover a full meal and drink.
Restaurant: Speaking of food, I tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. Overpriced, underwhelming, and disappointing overall. No discounts for guests at their own bar or restaurant either, which felt stingy considering the prices and what you get for it.
For the amount of money I paid, this was absolutely not good enough. Unless you only care about partying and don’t plan to sleep or care about cleanliness, I’d recommend staying elsewhere.

NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhDas Hotel mit den kleinen Bungalows ist sehr schön direkt am Chaweng Strand gelegen. Auf dieser Seite von Samui kann man wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge beobachten. Den nahegelegene Flughafen merkt man an den Flugzeugen die über den Strand fliegen. Das inkludierte Frühstück kann man jeden Morgen selbst wählen (kein buffet) aus einer Auswahl aus asiatischen Gerichten und Omelette oder müsli. Auch ist man direkt in der Nähe vom Central Einkaufscenter und somit auch da recht zentral gelegen. Die Bungalows mit einzelbetten sind recht eng, mit Doppelbett ist etwas großzügiger. Sehr schön ist auch die kleine Terrasse, wo man Richtung Meer blicken kann.
Ein kleines Manko würde ich in den Strandlliegen sehen. Diese sind aus Plastik und leider ohne Auflage. Zudem werden die Liegen auch an Hotelfremde, dann für 100 Baht vermietet. Das hat zur Folge, dass man sich auch als Hotelgast früh um die Schattenplätze bemühen muss.

AAmanda JCGreat hotel by the beach! Our room was more towards the street rather than beachfront but it was a great central location and the room was huge and beautiful! Great air conditioning and a nice patio with 2 chairs and a table for us to enjoy our coffee. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and available 24 hours. We checked in late at 10pm so this was a nice feature to have them on site!

Accommodations (3/5):
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but they felt a bit outdated. The furniture and decor could use some updating, and the beds were not the most comfortable. However, the room had all the basic amenities, including a TV, mini-fridge, and a clean bathroom. It's not a luxury experience, but it was acceptable for a short stay.
Service (4/5):
The staff here were friendly and attentive. They were quick to address our needs and answer any questions we had. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the concierge was helpful in arranging activities in the area.
Amenities (3/5):
The resort has a nice pool area, which we enjoyed. However, the pool could have been cleaner, and there were limited lounge chairs available, especially during peak hours. The on-site restaurant had a decent menu, but the food was a bit on the expensive side for what you got. It would be nice to have more dining options nearby.

Có hồ bơi ngoài trời với quầy bar cũng như phòng tập thể dục mà tôi đã sử dụng - hồ bơi có chiều dài gần 50 m Olympic, phòng tập thể dục có máy chạy bộ tốt và các thiết bị tập thể dục nhịp điệu khác cũng như tạ tự do.
Khách sạn nằm cách quảng trường khoảng 15 phút (đi bộ). Không xa làn đường vào bãi biển. Đại diện cho một lựa chọn có giá trị tốt cho bãi biển Chaweng.

MMs K San DiegoThe resort is clean and cozy. The staffs are mostly friendly and approachable. I believe it’s the best location for me as I can go to the beach on one end and the other end I can go straight easily to the Mall. Location is quite convenient and it was not hard to get a grab at all. Breakfast selection was great with a great view.

I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome.
The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng.
The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.
