Five streams flow into the lake and Nogies Creek flows out of the lake on the south side via the Bass Lake Dam. The perimeter of the lake is 8.16 km (5.1 miles) the lake reaches maximum depths of 34' there is a lot of cover for the major fish species including reeds, weed beds, lily pads, submerged logs and stumps there is a public boat launch off of Fire Route 407. Nogies Creek from the Bass Lake Dam to Nogies Creek Dam is a sanctuary area. Major fish species include large and small mouth bass and muskie.Bass Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15.
