In the main square of the village there are two grocery stores that sell a little bit of everything, the post office and the pharmacy. Parking in Varenna in summer is difficult: there are free parking spaces (white lines - hardly free and generally available for a maximum of 4 consecutive hours), paid parking spaces (blue lines - about 1 euro / h, from 8-12.30 and 14.00) 19.30, numerous in the station square); while it is forbidden to park on the yellow lines (reserved).
