The homestay is a short walk from the bus stop (for buses No Red 1 and No 2 from the main Kinmen town of Jincheng) and a 7-11 convenience store. The traditional Fujian building is beautiful and an attraction in itself, with an atmospheric courtyard where guests could chill with coffee and/or a meal. But it has been newly renovated with modern amenities, and the place is very clean and well kept. The host was warm and really very helpful. When he heard that we wanted to walk up Mt Taiwu, he drove us to the start of the walking trail. He also gave us a contact for a taxi driver in case we needed a ride back. And when he learnt that we were tracing our ancestors, he brought us to meet an elder who might have a family register. Really thankful to have met a host like him.

It was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

房間很乾净，老闆娘很親切，還泡茶及小吃與我們分享，聊聊天，也很週到，在我們離開的早上，她已經很忙在整埋房間，也下來幫我們燒開水，切水果，出門前給我們一些甜的，說有幫助暈船，送我們去碼頭時也順道繞些景點，還問我們要不要買貼吃的，實在細心，有機會再訪也會任這家

Beautifully clean hostel with a lovely design. In a very rural area near the ferry terminal. Please just be aware that there is no lock on the door at night which was a little scary as a solo traveller. But other than that the bed was comfy, shower was good and the host was very good at communicating over text message to help me.

There was ample space between the beds, allowing us to move freely without feeling cramped. A well‑placed desk provided a convenient spot to catch up on emails or jot down travel notes, while the seating area offered a cozy corner to relax with a cup of tea. The lighting was warm and adjustable, creating a welcoming atmosphere whether we wanted to read, work, or simply unwind. Cleanliness was impeccable. The housekeeping team maintained the room to the highest standard, with fresh towels, spotless surfaces, and a bathroom that gleamed. The bathroom itself was modern, equipped with a powerful shower, quality toiletries, and plenty of counter space. It felt more like a spa than a standard hotel washroom, adding an extra layer of indulgence to our stay. Noise insulation was another pleasant surprise. Despite being in a bustling city, the room was wonderfully quiet. We slept soundly each night without disturbance, which made a huge difference in how refreshed we felt each morning. The air conditioning system was efficient yet unobtrusive, keeping the temperature perfect without any distracting hum. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. Staff members were attentive, friendly, and eager to help, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile. Their professionalism elevated the experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Location also deserves mention. The hotel is situated conveniently close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet the room itself felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle. It struck the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. In summary, the twin room provided everything we hoped for and more: comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful design, and outstanding service. It was the perfect choice for two travelers seeking both privacy and shared enjoyment. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or a combination of both. The twin room is proof that luxury and practicality can coexist seamlessly, and it turned our trip into an experience we will fondly remember.

The lady staff at receptionist are really helpful ,. Room 3307 toilet are not clean angle fungus ( mattress full of bugs can’t sleep whole I use menthol spray to kill the bed bugs if flood out many ,. Aircon are super low support so hot to sleep with ,. I skipped away for my life a day of suffering to stay ,. Deco are model but amenities of healthy environment don’t match the price ,. For hygiene issue I choose to leave the place after suffering n rolling around with bugs n warm low aircon support ,. Please be good to travellers scary scary
