So City Hotel

The location is perfect for those who come for the party side, not much sleep done in the hotel since it's the busiest street for night clubs, but if you do look for a party weekend it's the perfect place. Pillows had few black marks in it, probably make up.

Lovely new hotel right in the centre. Very clean, rooms are sound proof so very quiet. Clean, hanging space for clothes. Small balcony. The pool does not open until May but I went to the roof top to view it: it looks amazing! Staff all nice, friendly and helpful

Hotel si presenta carino, la mia camera era con finestra solo che non si possono aprire infatti appena entri in camera c’è puzza, attenzione rei la pulizia non è ottimale .trovi un po’ di tutto acqua per frigo,ciabattine shampoo bagnoschiuma. Letto e cuscini comodi.Bella la piscina.posizione centralissima sotto la movida

Me alojé 18 noches, he disfrutado mi estadía, el personal es muy amable, me quedaba al lado de EC School. El hotel está ubicado en sector donde sus noches se trasforma. Hay mucho restaurante, disco y bar, el volumen la música sube, pero para mí lo fue un problema.

Không có gì để nói về cấu trúc sạch sẽ và chào đón. Tất cả các nhân viên tiếp tân đều rất hữu ích và tử tế. Khu vực này hơi ồn ào, đặc biệt là vào buổi tối, thậm chí có khi đến tận đêm khuya. Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Constructive criticism for bre
