Springbok inn is the perfect stay over after a long drive. Really good breakfast so worth adding that into your stay. View of the mountains and dassies are just a total bonus.

Great hotel and staff with nice packed breakfast if you are leaving early

The stay at Springbok Inn was lovely. The officials at the Inn was really helpful, solved a room problem very quickly, the waiters in the restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really well prepared and one could eat as much as you liked. The waiters were very thoughtful to come to your table and ask if there is anything they could further assist you with or if you still wed something on your food plate & they would also inform few minutes before the closing time of the restaurant for the guests. The location of the Inn is well set and there are no noise pollution of some sort to disturb the guests peace and quiet time. It is easy to find the hotel at night and during the day. Things they may attend to is: The outside air conditioning (makes noise at night), attend to the maintenance of bathrooms and the doors of it. The single beds are quite small and maybe slightly be attended to in the future for bigger 3 quarter bed. Overall was the service delivery satisfying and I will recommend a person to stay there and I will also stay their again. Great Job!!!👏👏👏 See you again!

2 of us ordered lamb neck. It arrived after about an hour. The other 2 ordered lamb curry which came with one piece of meat each- for R195 a portion. Sent back, complained. Still waiting. This is our second stay at this place and nothing has improved after 2 years . Avoid at all costs.

I visited Badgers Grill for Sunday lunch on 29 June 2025 and ordered the Eisbein with creamy mash. They were out of mash, and I gladly accepted savoury rice as a substitute. The issue arose when I began cutting into the Eisbein — the exterior was extremely tough, and the interior was visibly raw. I raised the concern with the waiter, who took the meal back to the kitchen. However, I decided it was unsafe and requested a different meal (steak), which I paid for separately — not a problem in itself. I then asked the supervisor for a written acknowledgment that I had been served raw pork, which poses a serious health risk. She responded with unnecessary attitude and told me the manager would contact me on Monday, 30 June 2025. Unsurprisingly, I never received any communication from the manager. Serving raw pork is a serious food safety violation, and the restaurant's poor handling of the situation raises concerns about both their kitchen standards and customer care. I do not recommend eating here. Based on my experience, I believe this restaurant requires urgent inspection by health authorities.

From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff was amazing, very helpful and the breakfast was awesome! The rooms were pretty good and clean and we got to watch the Springboks beat the Welsh with people who we never met and what a great vibe that was. Thank you so much for a memorable weekend

Hotel staff nice but restaurant manager rude 1 person complained about food portion and got shouted at infront of all of us she is rude won't eat their again and portions is small for the price really small we felt sorry for the gentleman really make a plan to get a new manager the waiters is really a joy

I really have no idea who designed the rooms of this hotel: washing comb in the room, plenty of unused floor so that was not necessary. The bathroom itself is tiny. In the room insufficient place to store your clothes of you stay longer then 1 or utmost 2 days. The hotel itself is an acoustic disaster. The Badger restaurant had a breakfast buffet which is okay. But diner is not good. We got even cold vegetables, broccoli for almost the whole week, and mash. I would look for an other place if you have to stay in Springbok.

Generally not a ver welcoming hotel. The rooms are very basic, not really clean (corners, curtains etc), bathroom full of mould, bedding was at least clean. Hotel is quite new, but you can see the lack of maintenance everywhere (broken tiles etc) Breakfast was ok. There are better options in/around Springbock.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, comfortable bed, conveniently situated hotel. BUT wine list bore no resemblance to what was actually available in the restaurant, and it was a great disappointment at breakfast to find only decaf instant coffee or rooibos teabags available. Breakfast was precooked cooling congealed eggs , nothing done freshly.

Hands down the worst place ive ever stayed. Staff are largely incompetent, we were given incorrect room keys, walked in on a family, met with misery when we went to talk to reception. Supper cold after a 1,5 hr wait, restaurant was by no means busy. Wifi non existent. At breakfast no cutlery and staff couldnt care less. Drive another 2 hours if you have to.

Spoilt and pampered since we arrived on the Friday until we left very early on Sunday morning. We arrived as a group on Friday (to see Steve Hofmeyrs show on the Saterday night). Our rooms were spotless and had a lovely view. Staff spoilt us with a warm boma fire and cosy blankets. On the Saterday we all went for a walk "in the koppies" around hotel and took plenty scenic photos. We had so much fun and felt spoilt, even when Eskom tried to damper our festive mood the generator kicked in with no noise but a purr. Breakfast was amazing! Wish we could stay for a week. Price quoted on internet not the same as price invoiced. Terrible road to the hotell. Too many stairs which are very slippery when wet. Absolutely not safe for the elderly. DSTV did not work properly. Restaurant exstremely expensive.. Balcony full of bird pooh. Not cleaned.
