We had a pretty bad experience at this hotel over the last weekend. It gave off a vibe that it’s going to be super great, but then it’s almost like the shining. We checked in around 4pm, there was a huge line and only one poor soul working the desk. It took forever. The property had a heating issue over the weekend and had no heat in common areas, this wasn’t a huge deal until we tried to go swimming. We could literally see our breath in the pool area, but enjoyed the hot tub under the circumstances. The pool area was pretty gross, it was obvious that housekeeping hadn’t seen the area during the day (a Saturday) and there were no towels, of course! The restaurant sat us, and didn’t actually interact with us for another 30 minutes. Also very slow and very disappointing. The free breakfast was on par with most free hotel breakfasts, barely edible. The breakfast attendant did not pay attention to plates and silverware and while the line to get some food was so long they ran out twice while we waited. There is potential to make this a great property but our stay was less than desirable. I also felt like it was a very understaffed place, employees were few and far between and I think they were doing the best they could. We won’t stay again.
