Amazing hotel in a very secluded spot, has everything you would ever want and then some. Spacious apartment type rooms, plenty of space, ample parking, resturant on site for breakfast and dinner, family owned and run, great staff. Excellent stopover place to explore the lower Penepolese. Close to Sparti, away from the highway, easy to find. You will be pleasantly surprised when you approach !!

This was a last minute emergency booking so we were not able to see or enjoy the facilities. The staff were ver friendly and helpful. A little hard to find the place late at night but we are used to bigger North American roads.

Friendly and swift check in. View of Sparti breathtaking. There was nothing missing in the 3 rooms we rented. Breakfast was delicious omelettes, crepes, fruit and any coffee you desired. Service and checkout was impeccable.

Great property 10 minutes drive outside of central Sparta. Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Quick and easy. Amazing views, great pool, great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polite and friendly staff. Rooms very big for our family of 5. Will stay again when we visit Sparta.

Our stay at the Melies Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and very hard working to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The pool area and restaurant views overlook the mountains, olive trees, and the wonderful city of Sparta. The rooms and accommodations were spacious and very clean. The breakfast included in your stay is full of fruits, breads , eggs , and coffees. The menu is full and there so many drinks to choose from alcoholic and non alcoholic. This place for a vacation or a quick short local get away is highly recommended for any size family and any age group you may have or be traveling with. Thai is place will be a return stay for our family for sure.

Stunning location, staff were very friendly and the food was good. The only negatives were (and this is a stretch), is that the breakfast was served too late (9am) and we did ask for the jacuzzi to be turned on at our suite which never happened. But would stay there again in a heart beat.

Amazing place , the staff is very professional helpful and friendly, the room clean and very nicely furnished, the view is spectacular overlooking the Sparta valley and the range of mountains behind. If you want to dine there, not many food choices but what they have is excellent end very well cocked, not to mention you’d dine with a view !!! Last but not least the ratio quality/price is one of the best I’ve come across these days. Definitely a place to recommend in particular if you’re heading back to Athen after a holiday in the southern Peloponnese 💙

Sparta was one of the most beautiful places we saw when in Greece. Melies Hotel is a beautiful place to see the natural beauty of this region and relax. It is very peaceful.
It is also quite close to town and not difficult to get into town.
