Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Reno - Sparks

The hotel has just been opened for a month, thus everything is new and clean. The front desk employees are friendly and provide good services. The hotel is closed to a small lake park. The room does not have its own hair dryer, thus I needed to get it from the front desk. I was surprised that the room had iron, but no hair dryers. The room rate already included the simple breakfast. It provided broiled eggs, oa**eal, energy bars, hot chocolate, tea and coffee.

Tv was malfunctioning as was the hvac system. Hvac fixed, tv not. Volume on streaming services severely throttled back.

We were very happy with our stay at the Extended Stay Hotel in Sparks. It met or exceeded our expectations. We were there in a holiday weekend and they were full, but you’d never know it because it was really quiet. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, apar**ent size fridge, stovetop, and a nice view of the snowy mountains, to name a few reasons. We wouldn’t hesitate booking there again.

Employee at front desk was friendly and helpful. A king room had been reserved but was told there was none available because of a large number of checkouts and cleaning staff was unable to prepare all the rooms and now they had left for the day. A double queen was offered but after stating we purposely reserved a king, we were offered a handicapped room with a king, so that is what we took. Room was clean and spacious, but the tv remote was nowhere to be found. Tried to call the front desk to get a remote, but the phone didn’t work. I went to front desk to request a remote, which was provided, but needs to be returned at checkout. TV service cuts in and out. The heater has been on for an hour now and the temp has risen from 63 to 67 with the thermostat set for 74. Not sure if it will reach the setting. This is our second time to stay here and the last time it was very cold in the room and wouldn’t heat well either.

I liked that it was clean, good beds, but it needs to get better with putting more towels and a coffee maker

Everything was great until the day of check out. I actually filed a guest complaint. Three people came beating at the door and I had to get out of the shower and go to the door in a towel. It was one male and two females and I am in a towel. Totally unprofessional, inappropriate management. It was 11:15 AM and they said check out is at 11. I told them that when I checked in the first day, they gave me a late check out at 12 o’clock. Then they questioned me more about who it was as they didn’t believe me, I finally had to be insistent and say I have a 12 o’clock check out I will be out by 12 and end the conversation. I then got back in finished my shower, loaded up and left by noon. Everything else during my stay was great and I know it is a new property. I would have stayed there again and recommended people to stay but after this happened, I will never recommend it and never stay there again.

Newer hotel with nice amenities. Raneem checked us in and then promptly responded to our call for assistance with a balky thermostat. She moved us to a new room quickly and efficiently.

Good new clean rooms, and the bed was great. The breakfast list was unacceptably spartan, though, with little to eat

It was one of the bad hotel experiences in 2023. Nothing much will happen don't want to waste my time providing my feedback. Never going to repeat.
