Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath. Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this. Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks. I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction. The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance. Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels. The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk. The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay. Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect. Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.

The room and the hotel was so nice, I likes everything. I love to swim and the swimming pool was great (open 6am-10 pm). The breakfast was also good, not the best but I was satisfied. Even though I arrived to Cebu at 2am, there was no any problem since their front desk is open 24h. And also when I did my check out, they have big lockers in the 1st floor for storage your suitcases (no additional cost).

Nhân viên tiếp tân tiếp đón tôi ngày hôm đó không hữu ích lắm (có thể cô ấy là nhân viên mới) và không thông báo về phòng của tôi. Vì vậy, ngày hôm sau tôi quay lại quầy lễ tân, một nhân viên tiếp tân khác, Sara (nếu tôi nhớ chính xác tên cô ấy), cô ấy đã giải quyết vấn đề và dọn phòng cho tôi như tôi muốn. Các nhân viên luôn có sức chứa và chào đón bạn theo thời gian. Bữa sáng chỉ ổn thôi. Điều tôi thích nữa là họ cung cấp dịch vụ đưa đón khứ hồi miễn phí từ khách sạn đến Trung tâm thương mại Ayala.

I love my stay here. Excellent location. The Fuente Osmeña Circle is right in front of the hotel. It’s very close to everything, Robinsons Fuente, Mercury Drug, Pizza Hut, KFC, Chowking, Orange Brutus, Rose Pharmacy, Watsons. Even Mango Square and National Bookstore are a close walking distance. I stayed here after the recent typhoon Tino and I came here for work. If you are like me who love coffee, you could have hoped there is an electric kettle provided in a room, for ease and convenience. They though provide hot water upon request. Other than that, all is good and the staff are very accommodating. .

I booked for my cousin because he needs to go to the city to take the board exams. It was cancelled and the hotel said to just go to the hotel when the final date was set. It was so convenient because we don't have to rebook or anything.

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service. First time in my life I got to use the bidet as shower. We called the receptionist for our complain about the unbearable hot temperature of their shower and we are told that they will call the engineering dept.to respond to the issue. But after almost an hour of waiting (imagine, I already got my body pre-showered,because I stopped when I felt that the water is so hot) we got a call asking if we will be extending our stay. And luckily, it was my husband who answered the call. And calmly replied, “No, we will be checking out in a moment”. Because if I were the one who got the chance to answer the call, then I will say “we will definitely not extending our stay. And never to come again.” I decided to just use the bidet as shower so we can leave the place. I hope this will not happen to anybody. Their price doesnt justify the means. NEVER AGAIN! 😌

Great location and good communication with the host. Basic room but is good if you just need somewhere to sleep and leave your bags.

We arrived early and we were checked in and go to our room . The apartment had the best view of bridge and city loong towards the ocean. Everything was available to us so we could cook our meals. The air con was very icy cold and beds were so comfortable. We also had a balcony which made the stay more relaxing.. The staff were the absolute best, besides the wonderfull acomadation, the staff made out stay amazing... We will always go back
