The hotel is placed just outside of the centre, which a short 5 minute walk. The centre is a busy one so it suited us as a family. Check in and check out was easy as it was all online, so no waiting in long queues, however the front desk does get very busy. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean. One of the lifts wasn’t working which is a small issue as there are 12 floors and a lot of guests, so waiting for them could sometimes be a little stressful. My only gripe is the breakfast. Often the food was cold, or just missing. Coffee machine wasn’t working, it’s badly designed so you can’t move around the food easily. Certain eggs you had to order but we tried that and they never materialised. Plates and bowls in weird places (nothing at all by the toast). It could be run much better. The food was average at best. It really let the hotel down in that respect. Otherwise, everything was fab. You do get noise from the road below but it’s a busy location, so it’s to be expected. We’d definitely stay here again if in the area or if we were going on a cruise the next day.

Lovely hotel friendly staff. Rooms clean and fresh. Good nights sleep. Beautiful buffet breakfast.

We stayed one night for a football match. It was a very busy bank holiday weekend but the staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in a twin room on the 6th floor and one thing we noticed was that even with the window shut, the noise felt like it was completely open so not best sound-proofed. We will stay here again.

Booked a double room with a sofa bed. Gave us a room with just an arm chair. Booked this room for Valentine’s and was not happy with this hotel. This should be a 3 star, not 4. Bath is also very shallow.

Understanding of customer needs is important. Money for breakfast is quite much, and menu never changes. We were there for few days. Thou staff like lewis is very helpful and thoughtful, keeping the hotel alive

We arrived at the hotel with Covid and were concerned with the safety of others. I sat in the car while my wife masked up and checked into the hotel. Reception was busy and my wife who has a disability had to organise someone to take our bags into the room. This entire process took 25 minutes during which I was sitting in the car. Two weeks later I received a fine of 100 pounds fro exceeding the 10 minute time limit outside the hotel. Apparently our picture was taken when we entered and again when we left. I believe this is reprehensible behaviour and Leonardo’s should be condemned for this. I would never use them again.

Lovely friendly staff on reception and at the bar. Lots of fresh tasty breakfast options. The only negative at breakfast was that the hot water machine must have been in need of a good descale as tea was quite scaly. The room was very clean, quiet and adequately equipped. Good aircon, showers and towels. Bed was a little hard though. Lifts can be busy so tricky and c yourself on a high floor (there are 12) The other guests seemed to be mainly pre or post cruise passengers from all over the world - some looked very jet lagged.

Lovely hotel, very central for shopping and cruise terminal. Clean and staff are very helpful. This was my 2nd stay for cruising. Would def use them again.

Extend for one night staying. I love Southampton, it‘s really a nice place to have vacation. Will stay here another time if we come next time.

The first room we booked was not clean the beef sheets had not been changed we then go moved to a room smaller then out original room there was stains on the floor and in the bed was not happy at all unprofessional for the price we paid

Excellent hotel, staff very helpful and will let you book in early if the room is ready. If not they will always store your bag. And no stupid extra charge like some hotels. Only downside is that it is in the middle of a roundabout and I could not see a real safe way of crossing the road. Obviously made it ok though 👍

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night pre cruise, the location was fairly central. Arrived at the hotel and checked in we was informed that a security deposit would be taken for any damages caused to the room, I haven’t seen this in a UK hotel for years. We went to the room which had been renovated recently by the look of it however the bathroom wasn’t renovated for some years. Overall a pleasant stay and I slept well so would stay again. Only issue is the hotel is on a roundabout so it was difficult to get in by foot unless you take a chance crossing the roundabout
