The hotel was AMAZING. Everyone was so helpful, patient and kind to us. They went above and beyond for my husband and I. The rooms were BEAUTIFUL and they were very accommodating. The location was perfect and we could walk to everything we needed.

007 would drift his Aston Martin through the lemon lined streets of Sorrento to once again evade Spectre, slide to a stop off Via Maria Grande and sweep Daniela Bianchi up the fabulous pergola walk to the sun-filled art galley, aka, Reception. Claudio Napolitano would instinctively know Bond's every exacting, secret agent requirement and with the snap of his fingers, Martinis (shaken, not stirred) would appear with a smile from his impossibly well trained staff of international professionals. Sorrento's own haute couture of guest accommodations! My wife and I recently enjoyed a week of extraordinary luxury and Italian warmth with Claudio, manager, and his extraordinary staff at the Bellvue Syrene, May 2024. Our daughter's recent wedding (she proclaimed as a 16 year old she would be married nowhere but Sorrento!) spanned 5 days and gave us the opportunity to live the Bellvue Syrene experience in depth! We also stayed at the fine Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, but we will call the Bellvue our "home" for all future visits! Last, having dined across Sorrento, the extraordinary breakfast on the terrace decorated with authentic Pompeiian art and architecture, the Coastal Bar for that mandatory afternoon Bellini and the fabulously managed Pergola Restaurant, all perched on the cliffs above the Gulf of Naples were our all the top of our "best of the best" list for Sorrento dining. You really must visit experience the time honored convergence of kindness, personality, art, warmth and luxury that is a "moment of timelessness" at the Bellvue Syrene. James Bond would. The service was exemplary but not ostentatious; low-key luxury atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally congenial and helpful. The setting is amazing. We were impressed by their minimal use of plastics -- glass, cardboard, metal, and ceramic where ever possible.

Wonderful location, right on the water. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea and straight into Napoli in the distance. The room was spacious enough, although opening two large suitcases is problematic. Amenities included wine and soft drinks until 8:00 pm. Room amenities were a plenty. Staff were friendly and attentive. There’s plenty to pf restaurants and shopping all walking distance. The only draw back is there are lots and lots of steps that you have to navigate though out the hotel.

My wife and I have stayed at the Bellevue Syrene since the year 2000 and did so again in June 2024 as well as in September. We were as delighted as ever with everything about this wonderful hotel. We were not surprised to learn that it has been awarded two Michelin stars for Hospitality. The staff have always been both warm and professional and admirably complement the tasteful luxury of the fascinating variety in the hotel's decorative appointments. Our room's balcony afforded magnificent views across the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius and our room was 'made up' as many as four times in a single day. Most recently, on our departure - and as we had a late flight - a room was made available to us at no extra cost so that we could rest before travelling - my wife and I are 75 and 81 respectively so this courtesy was particularly welcome. We are already keenly anticipating returning again in June 2025 and regard the Bellevue, quite literally, as our 'second home'.

This hotel is as close to perfection as you can get. From the moment you step on the property the staff bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need. Antonino was amazing for arranging a car service as well as dinner reservations for us. The property is stunning with the most breathtaking views. We had the most beautiful suite that was the highlight of our vacation. We will definitely be back!

Apart from this being a beautiful hotel in an ideal location, the experience is made exceptional by the amazing front of house team. Especially their enthusiasm to ensure we had a great time, and we did! Thank you all for helping us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Special mention for Sofia, Vanessa, Eduardo, Francesco and Guiseppe. Hope to see you again soon. One constructive suggestion for management is to add an alternative, casual, dining option for the evenings.

Absolutely stunning hotel in a prime location in Sorrento. Walking distance to all the main areas of Sorrento and very close to the lifts which will take you down to the ferry terminal for day trips. Our room was lovely- clean and simple with a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast each day was served on the terrace with ocean views and a pianist! A magical place to stay.

This hotel was amazing, our room was beautiful, and our stay was perfect. The staff was so friendly and they really went above and beyond! The amenities (especially breakfast and the all day snacks) were excellent. I wish I could live at the Syrene!

The hotel location is fantastic, they have a complementary beach beds which I believe is needed in Sorrento. However, I stayed in a normal sea view room and the room was not worth the price at all. It was extremely cheap style for a room worth 900 euros. The tiles are disgusting and the furniture is old and the service is bad. I had to upgrade to a junior suite to have better furniture toilet and room size. Even that is still not worth the price. I’ve stayed in plenty of 5* hotels at this rate however I was expecting something higher. There is also no kettle for hot water to make a cup of tea at night when I paid 1500€ a night for a suite. I had to order room service every night and paid them 20€ for tea ! They also missed out on turn down service once which was frustrating as well. The staff are amazing , they are generous. I would definetly visit the hotel and Sorrento again. But not for this price.

An absolute dream of a hotel, staff so incredibly helpful and friendly, stunning location, immaculately maintained, wonderful rooms, amazing breakfast, small but good gym, a gorgeous collection of objects and art, terraces that make you never want to move. Cannot recommend the place more

Saw loads of reviews of this place and put it on our list to visit! We stopped for just a drink, the cocktails were delicious and looked lovely, they cost around €20 each which we thought was a fair considering the service, snacks and the view. The views were stunning, and the hotel pool is just below the drinks balcony. Lovely staff and great snacks came with the drinks. We stopped around 3pm with no reservation and were sat down right away, lovely spot.
