Really lovely traditional hotel close to the centre of Söll. We were delighted with our week at the Eggerwirt. Our room was comfortable with a nice balcony with views towards the mountains. There was a small pool and terrace which was used after walks. The food was excellent with a choice of main courses and a vegetarian option. The deserts and starters were good and breakfast was really enjoyable. Söll is a very nice village with a small pedestrianised centre and lots of amenities. The walking is good, lift system excellent and the bus helps you get around the villages.

This is the second time we have visited the Eggerwirt. We found the standards of the hotel and the welcoming by the staff excellent. The food is typically Austrian and always freshly prepared and cooked. Our room was large and comfortable and clean. We spend our 4 days (5 nights) visiting local towns and hiking in the mountains where the views are spectacular. Local buses and the gondolas mean that it is easy to get back to the hotel wherever you go. Thank you to Claudia and all the family.

This is a wonderful hotel which I would happily and confidently recommend to anyone. Great location in Soll. Wonderful, helpful and welcoming staff in all areas - truly exceptional. Great rooms and facilities. An all round fantastic hotel for a visit to the Austrian Tyrol region.

One of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in, and one we are drawn to year after year. Claudia and the team make you feel so welcome, the food is always of the highest quality and the rooms so comfortable and welcoming. Söll is a beautiful, friendly Tirolean village with the most stunning scenery, hiking and biking. We can't wait to go back

A friendly family atmosphere always willing to help and food is amazing .Rooms are more than you would expect .Always a good choice of food salad is amazing and the staff are the Family run which makes it even better.Easy access to the centre of the village.

Having previously enjoyed staying at the Hotel Eggerwirt for consecutive ski seasons, we returned 10 years later to bike the mountains. We were greeted very warmly by Claudia and her family who looked after us so well, arranging a taxi for us from the airport and advising on bike hire, buses etc. It was lovely to see her sons, now adults working with Claudia and her lovely mother still fit and helping out. The bedrooms are very modern and comfortable, with a good shower and balcony to sit in the sun. The food was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The family made us feel so special by all waving us off as we left - lovely touch :)

I was here with my godchild for wintersport, and all was very nice. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and made it a real pleasure staying there. We were a bit unlucky that Soll piste was closed due to weather conditions but thanks to the friendly owner all went very well anyway and we always got smoothly and for free to Sheffau.

If you come to the Wilder Kaiser region, this is THE place to stay. Centrally located in Soll, beautifully decorated with cozy rooms and incredible food. Stay half board for the breakfast buffet and the well prepared dinners. Great draft beer and local schnapps choices at the bar allow an enjoyable break from the local bar scene. Your stay includes a bus pass to allow travel up and down the valley and coordinates with the train in Worgl. The ski bus to take you directly to the gondola station is right outside the front door!! Eggerwirt is staffed by three generations of a lovely family who treat you as if you were part of the family. This was our fifth week long visit over the past many years. They do book up early, especially in the ski season and also in the summer for hiking and biking. This is quintessential Austria. We WILL be back!!

Me and my husband still here for a week in the first week of june 2023, we loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always happy. The hotel was spotlessly clean. It is very close to the town and a lot of wonderful woodland walks. The food was lovely. It had a large continental breakfast and a 4 course evening meal , comprising of a salad bar , soup , a chose of 3 different main courses and a dessert. We enjoy a cuppa in the mornings and evenings so we took our own kettle. The bar is well stocked and a good price. No need to take a hair dryer there is one in the room. Definitely would return to this hotel.
