The hotel is situated on one of the hill tops with spectacular views, some of the best I have seen. The service and facilities are great and perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only issue was the breakfast buffet. There was plenty of variety, very tasty but unfortunately it was always cold. They didn’t have under heaters for the food trays, there were only heat lamps. The surrounding area was a little tired but I believe this is due to storm they experienced in September 2023. I would go back and visit again.

We have now visited the Skiathos Palace for 3 successive years and had a fantastic time during each stay. The hotel is very clean/well maintained, has great facilities and the view from the pool and restaurant areas are, for us, the best on the island. We dined at the White View Restaurant four times during our stay and it’s hard to find a more perfect dining experience - the view across Koukounaries as the sun sets is amazing, the menu has a good range of traditional options (including fresh fish) and all the staff are absolutely brilliant in everything they do. Each visit has been an amazing experience and we cannot wait to go again.

We have juat returned from a week and absolutely loved it. The hotel was very clean and our maid, Evita, left our room spotless. We stayed in an executive double sea view and had an amazing view overlooking Marata Beach. The room was modern, the bathroom a little dated and the balcony had 2 sun loungers as well as a table and chairs, great for chilling before going out in the evening. After reading the reviews about the steps up to the hotel we were a little apprehensive, however we didn't find it half as bad as other reviews have made out, the spectacular views make it worthwhile. We used the shuttle bus a few times to go in Skiathos town, you have to book the night before and they start at 4pm and the last one back is 8.30pm. There is also a shuttle bus to Maratha Beach and Koukaries Beach which start at 11am and run every 15 mins. The hotel is also near the bus stop and the bus service on the island is very good and also runs every 15 mins. A taxi back from skiathos town is 18 euros. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to nearby restaurants, we enjoyed Agustera and Under the Pine Tree. Martha Beach is a shorter walk and quieter with loungers at 20 euros and koukaries 35 euros. We were half board and ate from the evening buffet twice, the food was varied and good and breakfast was also good. We also always managed to get a lounger on the couple of times we chilled by the pool. We ventured out most evenings, there is little to do at the hotel. A beer is 7 euros and a glass of wine is 5 euros. Great if you want a chilled quiet evening. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We requested nearest access to everything which is apparently 5th floor. However they put us the furthest down the 2 corridors rather than at the beginning. I don’t understand in this day and age why disabled facilities cannot be installed. 1 disabled lift and ramps at least. This has been a major issue not anticipated when first booked. That said, we have had a wonderful time. The hotel is spotless and the staff are meticulous in their roles. The food is very good quality and tasty. The same every day more or less. Good spread to suit all dietary requirements. Something for everyone. Ice cream available but not generally in the menu. The White View dining isn’t cheap and the mains came immediately after the starters were cleared so we should have requested a 20 min gap. When spending so much I expect dinner to last a couple of hours at least. The drinks are extremely expensive as virtually no competition. However wine by the bottle reasonable. Fabulous courtesy beach access bus and transport to Skiathos included. An additional earlier return journey from Skiathos would be an added bonus. Overall, if you have no mobility issues and you are good at navigating this is a really lovely place to be. Skiathos is a beautiful island and this was our 2nd visit.

Just finished a 10 day stay here and loved it. Been to many Greek Islands and stayed at plenty of 4 star hotels and this is right up there with the best. We bagged a bargain with Jet2 with a free half board upgrade. 2 issues, beds were singles pushed together made up down the middle like pasties, drinks were pricey, €7 for less than a pint, €11 g&t, but the house wine at €17 was good value. Hotel is spotless, army of cleaners keep it that way, a little dated in places but modern in others. We looked at upgrading from promo room (416) to sea view but not worth the extra €34 euros per night so stayed put. Ex head chef and uber fussy vegetarian, food is a solid 8/10. Fine dining it isnt but food is mostly freshly prepared (they have their own farm/growing area but dont shout about it), Didnt try the a la carte as didnt seem too different, breakfast is samey but so much xhouce you can easily have something different every day. Better labeling especially of veggie options is an easy improvement they could make. Views are spectacular, location is great, easy access to Skiathos town via shuttle bus or service bus is 15minutes. Koukounaries consists of good beach with nice bar at far end a few restaurants and bars on the road. Standard of food everywhere is good, not cheap . Locals are very friendly, patient and couteous. Airport is very modern and much nicer than any UK airport ive used. Overall 100% recommend Skiathos and the Palace Hotel, would definitely come back to both.

We have stayed here now 4 times . The manager of reception has been very kind to move us into a more agreeable room . Now we can continue to enjoy our holiday in this wonderful hotel once again. The hotel has perhaps the best views in Skiathos and eating out side for breakfast and dinner has to be one of the highlights.
