As a frequent traveler, I feel compelled to share my current experience at Porto Carras Hotel, which regrettably fails to meet even the most basic expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a courteous but overwhelmed front desk staff, a sign of the evident understaffing plaguing the entire establishment. This led to frustratingly long wait times and an inability to address guest concerns effectively. The accommodations themselves left much to be desired. The beds were uncomfortably hard, reminiscent of sleeping on marble slabs, and the outdated decor did little to improve the ambiance. Adding insult to injury, the management's decision to cut corners became painfully evident when they refused to turn on the air conditioning. To compound matters, the hotel's website advertised our room as having two restrooms, yet upon arrival, this magically disappeared, leaving our family with inadequate accommodations. Don’t advertise something that cannot be delivered. Perhaps most disappointing was the lack of management presence and their dismissive attitude towards guest complaints. It's clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority at Porto Carras Hotel. In conclusion, my stay at Porto Carras Hotel is a regrettable experience that I would not wish upon any fellow traveler. Until significant improvements are made in staffing, accommodations, and management attitude, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. I would’ve stayed home if I knew this place was operated by a group of incompetent management who are too afraid to deal with their customers and leave their lower level staff dealing with all issues.unfair and indicative of very bad management and attitude to employees staff and guests. The tour operator is great but unfortunately the hotel is not living up to their part of the deal. The manager cannot show up or be present when 1,000 guests arrive says all you need to know.
