The Cedar Grand Hotel and Spa

Have been here for a day now. Have advance paid for 3 nights. Hotel is on main road which has high traffic. Parking space for own vehicle is available but is small. Rooms are good and clean. Valley view from room is good. Amenities in room miss napkins in bathroom and moisturizer. May be you need to ask for them. Gym is for name sake and has a single piece of three to four equipments including treadmill. There's a very small kids area which can hardly accomodate two kids at one time. Restaurant is in 5th floor. As only one lift for guests, have to wait for the lift. Food is good and tasty. We had opted for breakfast and dinner inclusive package. They have a fixed menu for dinner and you may choose for the same. The service is slow but food is tasty. Were not Happy with in room service and attitude at front desk. The TV did not play and when asked for the same, were denied immediate service. The person turned up attend only after the exciting ipl match was over. The location is good and near to MALL ROAD. On foot (though steep) you can reach Mall road in 15 mins. Overall, politeness and service may help hotel improve my rating.

Everything was good all staff and food but at the time of checking out in the morning the front office receptionist’s attitude was not professional. I think she needs more training regarding how to talk with the guests. Even though I told her i will complaint to your ***ger and her answer was shocking “i don’t care “.

If staying at this hotel, do not get a room on the 4th floor. The restaurant is on the 5th floor and whenever someone pulls a chair out in the restaurant, the screeching sound is heard very loudly in the room. After a day long trek, I wanted to get some rest. There was a loud party in the restaurant that went till 1AM. Upon enquiring, I was told that the party host was the MD of the hotel and they cannot be told to stop after a reasonable time. The rooms are NOT sound proof. So I could not get any peaceful rest in this hotel.

The hotel is good close to bus stand. 1.5km from lift to Mall Road. Taxi charges 200 from hotel. There is a shortcut where you can walk for 15 mins directly to Mall Road Kitchen is opened till midnight which is plus. Food at restaurant is nice. Staff is also very helpful.

Our stay was not upto the mark. Didn’t like the food and they are not taking care of hygiene as well. They don’t have toys for Kids in play area and is too small No gym trainer to assist. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We stayed at cedar grand for 2 nights with family. To our surprise and delight, our room was upgraded at the the time of check-in , which made our stay further comfortable. They have OTT channels which kids enjoyed watching their favourite shows. Food at restaurant was delicious.

Great location. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant is well run , food is tasty and worth having. If however you would like to dine out there are a number of places to eat and drink at. A place to visit.

Hotel is very good. Location is good. Food is also good. Rooms are big enough and have nature view. Staff are very prompt and kind enough to serve all the guests. Ample car parking. Walking distance from old bus stand
