Since inception and opening in 2013, Dew Drop In has welcomed patrons from all corners of the country and some from abroad. Countless number of guests have left with more than just an experience. They have left with memories to be cherished for a lifetime. We have hosted corporate guests, families, groups of friends, honeymooners and free individual travelers who need a weekend getaway in the beautiful hills of Shillong. Perched at 1,965 metres above sea level, Shillong Peak, which is the highest peak in the city and also everyone's favorite photography spot, is just a half hour trek from Dew Drop In. This is a real bonus for all nature lovers who long for fresh crisp air, dotted with picturesque pine walks on either side. Another attraction is the Buddhist Monastery, located about half a kilometre from the Guest House - a must visit for those seeking spiritual decadence. The main City Centre and market places are also just about five kilometres away. With four well-appointed rooms and private balconies for the three 1 st Floor rooms - guests of the Ground Floor room can avail of the main balcony on the 1 st Floor - one can enjoy a panoramic view and private experiences with friends and family. One can enjoy a hot beverage whilst indulging in the scenic beauty of the hills and if one is lucky, can even lay sight on the majestic Himalayas on a winter morning if the weather co- operates. All rooms have attached bathrooms and are well equipped with amenities like flat-screen TVs, personal tea/coffee making facilities, room heaters (on request at minimal cost), bath amenities, filtered water, complimentary WiFi and access to the living room-cum- lounge, which can be used as a gathering room or just a meeting space. Complimentary parking is available. The Guest House is well secured within a perimeter and equipped with CCTV surveillance. it is home stay. Rooms are good and owner is very helpful. Most of the rooms are provided with balcony where you can sit and enjoy nature beauty. location is slightly inside from main city. food should be order well before bcz ii is home stay not hotel. over experience is good and we are quite happy to stayed there.

Family run place very neat and clean very good hospitality very kind and humble staff Bonnie and owner Grant and his sweet Mom and Aunt. Nice location and view cozy rooms and excellent food. Excellent service my family really enjoyed and have made good memories. If in Shillong recommend this place

Had a wonderful experience at this place. Great service and amenities. Wi-Fi and room heater provided. Geyser also available. Room equipped with electric kettle and ingredients to make tea & coffee. Meals were prepared fresh as per ala carte order. View from the balcony was awesome. The room was clean and cosy. Smart TV with access to OTT platforms including Netflix was available in the room to pass time after sundown.

We stayed for a night during our 8 day North East trip and it was a wonderful stay. The couple were more than hospital and took care of all our needs. They were warm, accommodating and left no stone unturned in making our stay memorable. The house itself is quite large and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to travel with family. We had 6 people who were agreed 70 and above, and 1 0 year old, and this place served us perfectly.

I have had the pleasure to stay at the Dew Drop In and experience the hospitality offered by Mr. Grant and family. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are clean, cozy and well equipped with basic amenities - geyser, electric kettle, room heater and WiFi. The rooms on the first floor even have a balcony from where you can see the city. Food is homestyle and very tasty; we enjoyed all the meals we had during our stay. The place is peaceful as it is a few kilometers away from the main bazaar. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience living in a Khasi home and have a relaxing time at Shillong.

Its location is 5-6km away by vehicle and 3-4km by walk from centre [ poice bazar]. But still it is at very calm and silent location. Stay at this home stay was excellent. Very neat and Good looking Rooms. Terrace garden was also excellent. Food provided by them was very good. So i highly recommend this for All family, friends.

Awesome stay, hygienic, cool place - hospitality living upto "Atithi Devo Bhavah" experience. Homely food, peaceful surroundings with full Shillong View. Combo of "Professionalism with a personal touch" of the kind at Dew Drop In is rare in India. While in Shillong, missing to stay here would be really unfortunate.

Very bad hospitality. After knocking for 5 minutes, one maid came out with cold sight at us with mechanical behavior. Then we were provided at ground floor coldest room. Then all members disappeared. I think they do not know how to behave with guest. Hospitality is a distant thing for them. Food is good. They give it on table & disappeared. If you want to call them you have to came out from your room, cross a dark corridor & then alarm a bell. After 2/3 mts one of them appeared. Looking like ******* place to me. One should not book room there. We next day check out & go to police bazar where you can get plenty of good hotels at this price.
