OYO Shanklin Beach Hotel

幾十歲人第一次租到一間垃圾酒店，房間又小又不通風，洗手間沖涼房設備太差，環境極其惡劣；房間一入門口位就漏水，而且浴室洗澡洗到一半就壞了淋浴設備；工作人員永遠都只是說現在沒人，要等經理上班，如預定了房間的請自備洗漱用品，式者寧願給多一點點錢去另一邊沙灘，小的不能再小； It was the first time that a tens-year-old rented a junk hotel. The room was small and unventilated. The bathroom and shower room were poorly equipped and the environment was extremely bad. The room leaked at the entrance, and the bathroom broke halfway through the shower. Equipment; the staff always just said that there is no one now, and they have to wait for the manager to go to work. For example, if you have reserved a room, please bring your own toiletries, and those who prefer to pay a little more money to go to the other side of the beach, can't be too small.

This hotel is in desperate need of decoration, our room had paper coming of the walls, a toilet that only flushed now and again, the whole room needed a coat of paint, the bed base was really tatty but covered with a valence. The waiting staff were friendly but the food was very hit and miss. The island is beautiful and well worth the visit, but at another hotel.

Never had a room like that in a hotel before.We booked a year in advance our room was tiny with 2 metal beds .The mattresses didn't fit so you hurt your legs on the frame.Despite asking for a sea view ours looked on to a wall and dirty courtyard.A couple on our trip booked the night before and got a seaview with kitchen space.I may add our room does not show on your website for obvious reasons.We asked to move but they said hotel was full.Staff were lovely but the food is awful.

We have just returned from our stay at this hotel. This hotel is in need of a complete update. On arrival given our key card for our room , took lift to 1st floor after following a very worn and smelly corridor entering our room we were hit with this foisty musty smell even though the windows were open. We went to report this to reception as my husband suffers with asthma and the smell would effect his chest only to be told by the very unhelpful receptionist they could not change the room as hotel was full. We were the first coach party to arrive that day others didn't arrive till later that night so why could not exchange room we don't know . A notice appeared on reception desk saying no rooms could be changed as hotel is full . We tried again later that night but the receptionist was very brusk and rude We told had to wait till manager was in next morning to see if anything could be done . Next morning we tried again and my husband was told " I TOLD YOU LAST NIGHT THAT WE COULDN'T CHANGE ROOM" I think reception staff could do with a course on customer service. His attitude was witnessed by other people as they approached us the next day and said it was nor acceptable they way we were spoken too. I emailed customer service with Caledonian travel who we were on trip with about situation who replied back within 24hrs telling us they had spoken to hotel and that we had to go to reception and they were going to give us a different room . Have to say it was a better room no smell. But took 3 days . Plus side food was not to bad and tasty, most other hotel staff very pleasant. Please be aware if you planning on staying here its not very good . Its a shame as could be lovely as situation outside is beautiful

Wonderful service, couldn’t fault staff but unfortunately the food was catastrophic at best, small portions with no flavour what so ever, definitely would eat else where, also beware the hotel is mainly used by Caledonian so they get preferential treatment, the food hall as it’s not a restaurant is so busy you can’t hear yourself talking, ridiculously busy.

We paid 270 each for 4 nites with free ferry It costs around £100 for the ferry each way. That means 42.50 per nite and for that u get Breakfast tea coffee fruit juice 3 course dinner 4 free drinks & free parking and a comfy room .. do the maths it's a bargain break food is good room is clean & tidy staff are friendly ... we going same time nxt year ...
