Very close to Jing'an Temple metro station, staff are professional, the room is clean but quite old. The bathroom door is on a track and cannot be fully closed, and the toilet is an old style too. You can book a taxi in advance through the concierge, which is a good sign of service.

That night was the first time I’ve ever been in Shanghai by myself. I live in Suzhou and usually friends or now ex-boyfriend would come with me. I booked this hotel because it was close to Jing’an Temple. Check-in was very convenient, the location is great, and the bed was comfortable. I did sit by the window for a little bit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s coming to Shanghai.

Great service and close to lovely Jing An temple

This was not my first time at Swissotel and won’t be the last. It’s a great hotel, in a fantastic location for proximity to Hongqiao airport/station and the Bund or Pudong without paying a fortune like for hotels right on the Bund and Pudong :) Easy walk into French Concession area with loads of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Good hotel in the heart of jingan temple area. Comfortable bed, friendly and receptive staff and nice breakfast buffet. The hotel has a decent gym and a great overall ambiance.

Would like to commend the good service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect.

Everything was perfect except, upon arrival to our room there was a notice on the table which said the swimming pool would be under maintenance the following day for one week. If you want a hotel with a swimming pool, always call the hotel first to confirm the pool is open since there will be no notice via the trip app before you book or after you book.

excellent and Friendly service, especially the Concierge department at the lobby whenever we have questions or on assistance needed.. very helpful.

the only thing is the breakfast , the standard is getting lower , before your breakfast was much better and the staff should be more friendly

Another great stay at the Swissotel! As always a great welcome and greeting by the night manager Jason. His associate, Jack is also always kind and very helpful with anything that I may need. Always so inviting, caring and makes me feel like a family member when I stay. The hotel is decorated nicely for Christmas and has a nice holiday feel. Friendly and professional staff. One of the most difficult things is to arrange your taxi on your own, but they help you gladly. The most important feature is the location. Jing An temple is the epicenter of the action in Shanghai, close to the commercial centers and nightlife.

Amazing hotel & service in a wonderful area close to tourist attractions and amenities. We stay here whenever in Shanghai!
