Soho Boutique Catedral

Fantastic hotel. Large rooms, cool decor. Friendly staff. Lovely rooftop bar which is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle below. Best of all - the location and price. It’s almost opposite the cathedral and on a pedestrian street so no noisy traffic. 100% recommended.

This hotel cancelled my reservation the day I was supposed to arrive that I had booked months in advance. Unfortunately for me they were able to get 3x the rate I had reserved initially. Their customer Service has been no existent and they are unapologetic. BEWARE!

The hotel is in a perfect location literally steps away from the catedral. There is a rooftop terrace with wonderful views and a rooftop pool as well. I loved the beds and slept so well but the most amazing part for me was the incredible care the staff gave us. We brought a tour group and check in can be chaotic but Adrian had prepared everything ahead of time so it was seamless and perfect. I would love to come and stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location. Stayed in a suite and the room was big and with great conditions. The price was fair and breakfast was good and complete. The only thing i missed was the slippers... just this detail. Great bed to, and nice pillows.

Overall this hotel was fantastic. The location was perfect, the hotel is smart and spotlessly clean and our room was extremely comfortable. We loved the bar area/pool and the service throughout was great. Unfortunately, there is an awful smell of drains most of the time, largely throughout the reception area. Thankfully the smell didn’t affect our room. The dining area for breakfast is located on the ground floor and we were concerned that it would be very unpleasant to eat in this smell but luckily it didn’t seem to coincide. Breakfast was disappointing, it was a very basic offering and poorly replenished later in the morning. It is such a shame because the smell spoilt what is a truly lovely hotel.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in Seville a few nights and this hotel was perfect. It felt super luxurious the moment you walked in. You are directly across from the cathedral with multiple cafes and restaurants lining the surrounding streets. Fantastic location. We only ate breakfast here and it was very nice. The staff are excellent and arranged taxis for us with no problem. Limited loungers for the rooftop pool but they were quick to make sure people weren’t hogging them all day. Great bar tenders upstairs on the roof and downstairs. Really would recommend for a couples weekend to explore the city and treat yourself.

From the moment we arrived everything was spot on. The concierge who signed us in spoke immaculate English and could not have been more helpful. He explained about access during Holy Week, gave us tips on how to avoid the worst of the crowds, where to go to find restaurants that would not require a reservation, the best things to see and so on. The rooms were comfortable and and clean and whilst not the biggest were what we expected from a city hotel within a balls throw from the Cathedral. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we would only book this hotel when we return to Seville.

I know that if I have an opportunity to return, Soho Boutique Catedral will be my first choice in Seville! 1.Location - I noticed that I used telling: the hotel is just across the street :) - from the Cathedral, from Real Alcazar, from the old city, from the tram stop to San Bernardo train station (coming from Malaga by MD train) ... For the first time in Seville location is unbeatable! Everything in a walkable distance! 2. Semana Santa from the rooftop - although our primary interest was the city and only later we discovered that we happen to be in Seville during the Semana Santa (starts one week before the Easter), we were quite happy to use the hotel's rooftop to watch the processions and enjoy the festival atmosphere (which comes together with access restrictions, but the hotel does everything to secure the access and it also has a 'backstage' door entrance from the side street). 3. We were lucky to get a double room with a terrace (did not ask for it) - enjoyed the warm evenings with a glass of a drink and a skyline view. The terrace was a surprise bonus for us, we enjoyed it very much. 4. Pillows - the usual problem for us is that they are too big, here we had a choice and we got the right size and volume! Wonderful! 5. A kettle - besides the coffee machine, we could prepare hot water for tea, although a couple of bigger size cups would have been nice, but as well prepared travellers we had our own big cups with us. 6. Body lotion 'standard' - as hotels become eco-friendly and restrict availability of toiletries, the hotel already offers body lotion bottle in the bathroom. You may always ask for more toiletries at reception, but it's so nice to have what you need. 7. Breakfast - amazing choice! Eggs in all 'formats' - just ask and they make! Avocado, Iberico ham, sparkling boubles etc. 8. A secret hint - if you are from the North of the Northern hemisphere and used to water temperature around 20+oC, you may enjoy a solo March swim in the rooftop swimming pool which is available all the year round. 9. Internet wifi good. The staff - very responsive and friendly. The building and facilities well looked after and 4*+ 10.
