Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla

在老城區裏面的歷史酒店，出門即景點！不過房間偏小，會比較悶。另外網約車無法開到酒店門口，衹能叫出租車。

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. So stunningly decorated. That is in a central location. But yet, so quiet. Quite literally just around the corner to the cathedral and the real Alcazar. The staff are so incredibly lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. They also throw in the most amazingly, scrumptious afternoon tea for free. Which consisted of fresh fruit salad, bacon/ meat rolls, yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee. We consider ourselves very well travelled and this is among one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Its deserves 5 stars!

Our second time in Seville, and we wanted to chose a different hotel from our first visit. The location is very central, the hotel beautifully done and the b&b option was perfect for our needs. The gluten free options were very limited, but I didn’t go hungry. We had a suite - a good size & beautifully decorated, although a little tired in places (sofa had pen marks, shower door would not close & the handle fell off the bedside drawer). It was very clean & the bed was comfortable, although sleep was a little disturbed by loud footsteps from the room above. We had a jacuzzi on a small internal balcony which worked well but we only used once. The staff were pleasant, but the front desk did not look up when you entered or left the hotel. Maybe it’s a UK thing but a ‘good morning’ or ‘have a good day’ would go a long way. Please do not use the airport transfer the hotel offer. It costs more than an Uber and the service was shocking. We were collected in a damaged car & were left stranded on our return journey to the airport. They dictated a time which we were not allowed to change, and then did not turn up on time. To cut a very long and stressful story short, we ended up wandering around the main square ‘looking’ for our driver in crowd of 300 people whilst continually phoning the hotel. With an hour to go before our check-in closed we decided to get an Uber. Shame, as it ruined our stay. After emailing twice, the hotel did apologise & refunded the one-way transfer cost, but it’s not the service you expect from a 4* hotel. It’s not cheap and there are certainly better hotels to choose from.

We had an excellent stay here for five nights. The staff were charming, the room and the building were both very nice and the location is wonderful for easy access to the sights. We both enjoyed the afternoon teas and the breakfast buffet. We would both be very happy to go back and stay there again.

The hotel is in a perfect location for easy walking to most of the beautiful sites in Seville as well as easy access to amazing restaurants. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. My husband had a sore throat and they made an extra effort to provide sliced lemons and honey to help us. In addition the beds were the most comfortable of our trip (Barcelona, Madrid, Granada) and the breakfast and tea delicious. Our stay at Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla felt like a peaceful oasis at the end of each day of sightseeing. We will return!

This is a great hotel. We stayed there ten years ago and decided to return, and we were not disappointed – it is every bit as good now as it was then. Our room was not large, but was very comfortable and well-appointed. We overlooked an interior atrium, but that was a benefit, because we were there during Sevilla’s April fair, when there would have been a lot of noise from the street. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, just a couple of blocks from the Giralda (the cathedral), the Royal Alcazar (palace) and the Barrio Santa Cruz (the old Jewish quarter). Highly recommended. We would return again.

Great breakfast and afternoon snack, excellent concierge service, recently renewed bathrooms, very cozy atmosphere. The location is great, walking distance from Cathedral, shopping areas, restaurants and bars. Excellent choice for 4 days

This is a lovely hotel right next to a very noisy bar in a busy area but inside the hotel itself it is very quiet. On arrival we were given a lovely welcome drink. No information about the area was offered, I asked after our drink for a map and was given one, but the man on reception told us nothing, no tips on where to visit or eat. The room we had for 2 nights looked lovely. The double bed however was just twin beds pushed together. It had a large shower room. Toiletries were attached to the shower wall, but the shower gel was empty for the whole 2 days ( I had brought soap luckily).The room had a small outside patio area which is surrounded by high walls so no view, but nice to have an outside space. The roof top pool area has terrific views of the nearby cathedral and the skyline. There is a small pool, only a couple of sun loungers but a lot of chairs. We did not see anywhere to get towels. I was disappointed with the breakfast buffet, there is a lot of cold food on offer, plus 3 hot dishes - bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs. When we were there they had run out of bacon. We waited a long time for the dish to be re-filled. When it eventually was, the eggs had run out. I found the pastries to be a bit stale. Breakfast is served from 8 am so on our second day we were given a "picnic" to take with us to the airport as we had to leave at 8. Afternoon tea buffet is available from 4.30. This is mainly breakfast items, pastries, donuts and so on. The position of the hotel is it's selling point - very near the Cathedral and other sights and the panoramic view from the rooftop is stunning at sunset.
