Ratxó Retreat Hotel, Member of Meliá Collection

A beautiful hotel and perfect if you need to get away from it all and totally switch off. Beauty can be found at every turn. The warmest of welcomes at our late arrival after 10pm although I wouldn't recommend driving there so late in the darkness as the road is quite tricky, but a great night sleep in the comfiest of beds, crisp white linen and amazing pillows was just what was needed. A calming meditation from Claudia and her magnetic energy on the spa terrace followed the next morning making for a perfect start to any day surrounded by the spectacular scenery. And a late lazy lunch with Lluigi one of 3 resident peacocks rounded off an exquisite start to our trip here in Majorca. The staff are warm and engaging from reception to the general manager. We will be back.

Strong nature identity which bring you in paradise. The staff is dedicated to create you a unique experience, they are totally involve in what they do for your happiness. You are deep in the “wild” which give you a feeling of freedom. First time but not last.

We spent one night and we felt literally renewed! We noticed good vibes and the best of all: the staff was really nice and all facilities fit perfectly with the surroundings.

We stayed for one night in this Amazing slice of paradise, the room was really nice and perfectly clean. I had a few special requests to celebrate my girlfriend and I getting engaged and the staff were so helpful and friendly, we even got a free room upgrade.

Without exception the Ratxo Eco Resort is our favourite hotel on Majorca! It lives up to everything you might expect from a five-star resort: beautiful accommodation, in a breath-taking, secluded location, excellent food, great service...a real place to unwind-really it stole our hearts! However, there is something particularly special about the people who work there. They exude a deep warmth and an authenticity, effortlessly treading the line between professionalism and connection. For instance, each morning a young man named Pere would welcome us for breakfast with a broad, warm smile, he read the room perfectly, engaging with ease, we would leave each interaction feeling a sense of ease and a deep sense of value. This value system seems to be entrenched in the culture of the hotel, from Louis who prepared the perfect hike for us or the director who went out of his way to regularly connect. No one ever seemed to busy, rather an eagerness to ensure our well-being and joy tank was full. For my wife, it was particularly important for her to decompress after an intense year- that was most definitely achieved. We unreservedly would recommend this resort!

We had an incredible stay at Ratxo. What a beautiful, peaceful and stunning location. We stayed in the beautiful junior suite with a nice balcony overlooking the retreat. We enjoyed the spa every day. On our second day we went for a morning trail run towards Es Capdella, very nice surroundings. We also enjoyed the free yoga/stretching class, great instructor and a stunning view from the roof terrace of the spa. Roots, the restaurant was very good with 0 km food that was very tasty! The breakfast buffet had it all. Very good food across the board. The best of all was the Ratxo staff. 5 stars all the way! The reception staff, Lluis the hotel manager who gave us the welcome tour and welcomed us to our room. Lluis the food and beverage manager, a true professional! And thank you Tim for all the information and your friendly attitude. And last but definitely not least Nicholas the director, a real gentleman that made sure our stay was perfect. We will return soon!

Another relaxing stay at LJRatxo. We love how quiet the mornings are lazing by the pool and having breakfast on the terrace. It is very pretty at night with all the lights. Rooms are very comfortable. Luis on reception was amazing and a real ambassador for the hotel. Other staff very friendly too. We had delicious food in the evenings in the restaurant. We went for a nice walk from the hotel and drove to nearby towns to explore. The pool is huge! It is a place to relax and re charge and will definitely be going back.

Wow, we had an amazing stay. The grounds, location and views are breathtaking. The staff are all very warm, welcoming and attentive (even though some very simple basics with room service, like bringing or replacing spoon/forks, were sometimes missed). The food, presentation and waiters were excellent. We stayed in one of the villas with a private pool that was in a spectacular setting, had wonderful views and was very private. While the two bathrooms had some shower and drainage issues and the air conditioning was a bit underpowered, the rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Overall, despite some minor shortcomings, we loved this hotel and staff and definitely plan on coming back again.

An adventurous road with many potholes and 3 gates leads to the hotel in a valley 6.5km away from civilization (Puigpunyent). The welcoming at 10:30 am was friendly and cordial, I was led to the restaurant to do the paperwork. I noticed that most of the tables around me had not been cleared and there were leftovers and diry dishes all over the place. There were about 4 other guests and 3 waiters. When we had lunch there at 3:30pm the same tables as in the morning were still not cleared. In addition, there were other tables from lunch that had not been cleared. And again, the number of guests was manageable. The food was good, but the drinks ordered were not served until after the meal. The whole service was not coordinated and completely dysfunctional, although the waiters were very trying and friendly. The same was true at dinner, where an appetizer costs at least 20€, the main course 35€, and a bottle of red wine 60€... We were not asked if we liked a dessert or coffee / tea. The staff does not seem to be trained at all - even in the basics. The room key did not work twice that day. When I went to the front desk about this, I asked for the manager because I wanted to complain about the poor service in the restaurant. There was no manager on site. I asked for the manager twice more over the next few days and asked the receptionist to tell him that I wanted to speak to him. We were never contacted by anyone during the 4 days of our stay. The room was nice and spacious (owner's suite, averaging 640€/night), but again the service left much to be desired. The first two days a turndown service was done, e.g., water refilled, the only tiny trash bin emptied, and the dishes put away. Thereafter, no turndown service anymore and the dishes with leftover fruit were not put away either. The minibar was not refilled during the entire stay. Again, the service seemed arbitrary and uncoordinated. The room is equipped with shampoo and shower gel, but there is no conditioner and body lotion. Unfortunately, based on what we experienced, we do not recommend this hotel, the value for money is poor.
