What a wonderful hotel! The hotel is very well kept/clean and there is an excellent choice of food. It’s right next to a beautiful beach which extends into the old town of Lagos, making daytime walks just perfect. The entertainment is great - traditional dancing, live saxophonist are both favourites. Simply wonderful. Sophie and Cris just add to the excellent service team and make the whole holiday experience perfect. Thank you to all the staff 😁 Great golf course nearby too and some nice eateries in Lagos old town. We arrived late March and stayed for 12 nights, the weather wasn’t great the first week, but we were luckier the second. We intend to visit again, but maybe in September 😎

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. Me and my mum came to suprise my grandma who was staying away for the week too with my grandpa for a holiday away. We arrived a day later and we were all happy with our holiday away. The staff and the hotel itself were lovely. Would definitely come back.

We walked into the large white marble, open plan, reception and lobby, which is backed by a huge full width glass window... giving a fantastic panoramic view of the beach, blue sea and cloudless sky. A member of staff immediately welcomed us, took our bags, then escorted us to the bar for a complimentary drink. The hotel was superb... open plan, airey, clean. Our room was also open plan, large with a huge bed, two arm chairs, TV, balcony with patio furniture, large walk in shower, big built-in wardrobes, minibar, and safe. Note, the bath is in the open plan room so you need to be comfortable with the person you're sharing with if you want a bath. The hotel has two open air pools and one indoor. All three are excellent and very clean. I counted over 160 sunbeds around the main pool... we always got one at whatever time of day. Next to the indoor pool is a spa offering various treatments, and a small gym. There is a snack bar by the main pool, and a drinks bar by the smaller pool. We used the snack bar on most days and the food was excellent... not cheap... but this ain't a Premier Inn. The main restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors to enjoy the weather and the stunning view. It is buffet style and the food was amazing! We ate breakfast and evening meals. Each day the menu varied, it was all-you-can-eat, and the only extra charge was for drinks during the evening meal... water was complimentary. The dress code in the restaurant was relaxed within reason... i.e., no vest-tops or swim wear. The staff throughout the hotel were superb... extremely polite and courteous, most spoke English, and were eager to assist should you need it. Access to the beach is opposite the hotel. There is a boardwalk along the beach and the hotel is about a mile from Lagos. We walked there either along the boardwalk or along the stunning sandy beach. There are bars and restaurants along the boardwalk and Lagos is full of restaurants. Finding lunch was never a problem. We stayed for ten days in mid-September. The temperature was in the high 20s, clear skies, wall to wall sunshine. It rained on one morning but the sun soon came out. At that time of year sunrise was around 7.30 am and it got dark around 8.00 pm. Although hot in the day it was chilly at night. I used the hotel gym every day because I was eating so much of the superb food on display. My one small suggestion would be to make the gym bigger, because five people in there makes it busy, and to install air conditioning in there, because it was very warm and humid next to the indoor pool. If you like loud raucous entertainment, furry mascots running about, full-fat-English breakfasts, cod and chips wrapped in newspaper, and English pubs, then this isn't the hotel for you. Our stay was quiet and relaxed... this is a class hotel. We loved this hotel and would thoroughly recommend staying there. Wish we were there now.

Beautiful, clean and modern hotel overlooking a lovely beach. Rooms are spacious, ours was a sea view and it was a lovely view to wake up to every morning, we also had views to Lagos town itself. We went all inclusive, the breakfast was good - buffet style as was the evening meal but some evenings the food wasn’t as warm as it could have been which was disappointing for a 5 star. We had lunch at the pool bar - which is a cafe style - the food was very good here. Pools were fabulous, with plenty of places to sit. Ubers very cheap to get into Lagos and we had some lovely evening meals here, we did a couple of excursions to take in the beautiful beaches and caves which I would highly recommend. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel and the area - just perhaps not the evening meals unfortunately.

This was a solo holiday, after having surgery, in the most beautiful town of Lagos. It was my first experience of an Iberostar (all inclusive) and what a precedent it has created. From start to finish the experience exceeded my expectations - the service, spacious facilities, views, cleanliness, comfort of room and bed, wide range of food, spa, gym and all the pools were excellent. My room overlooked the sea, pool and terraces, but it was not intrusive - in fact, nice if you are on your own. There was never a problem getting a sun bed and umbrella and plenty of areas to choose from. For a big hotel it was surprisingly peaceful and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I used to walk daily either along the boardwalk or along the beach into Lagos, which was necessary after the lovely selection of food! Lagos marina and town are a delight to walk around and I did a couple of coastal trips. The holiday certainly fulfilled what I needed to recover and I am keen to try other Iberostar hotels in the future.

We love Lagos as a holiday resort and have been on many occasions. This was our first visit to the Iberostar Hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal for the Meia Praia beach and the lovely walks along the board walk. It is a 2 mile walk along the board walk in to the centre of Lagos. The hotel was lovely and clean and we found all the staff were extremely helpful. We were half board and paid the extra at the hotel to go all inclusive which is good value. The breakfast was buffet style and lots of choices. The evening meal was also buffet style but it was pretty chaotic at times with everyone trying to pick and choose their food. Sadly a lot of the food was either cold or tepid and needed to be warmer to eat. Our preference would have been to have a more formal sit down meal. In the hotel there were plenty of water machines to fill your water bottles. The two outdoor pools were lovely. We did not use the inner pool or gym. We would revisit the hotel but would only go bed and breakfast unless the evening meal options changed.

We have been here a few days now and are very happy and relaxed. Hotel is lovely and calm the food is great and the and service is excellent. A personal mention must be given to Mario who has really looked after us in the restaurant and snack bar making us feel special. Also Raphael Juan & Tatiana. There are plenty of activities if you want them but nobody is hassling you to join in. Would definitely recommend for a relax and rewind holiday.

It was our first time at Iberostar Selection Lagos and we went with our son & daughter in law who had stayed there last year. The hotel was very impressive: super service from all staff, very comfortable and well-appointed rooms, close to the lovely sandy unspoilt beach, well tended grounds, clean swimming pools with plenty of loungers and new parasols. The kids club was excellent and the 2 girls who ran it were brilliant with the children, providing appropriate and fun entertainment for them. The buffet breakfasts were superb and the evening buffet had plentiful choice, something for everyone. All in all a very good value holiday.

The customer service at this hotel is top notch. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere upon entering is very relaxing and this is the perfect place for a weekend beach getaway. They have multiple swimming pools,including one indoors, and they have a great view of the beach and the ocean. 10/10 will stay again.
