Desiterra Resort

我們帶孩子出來玩的 房間就是非常非常小 但是功能都很齊全 外邊晚上確實不太隔音 我在床底下發現兩個通風口…。

We loved our little casita at Desiterra, with our private plunge pool and stunning view of sunrises over the Aegean. The restaurant was good, and had tasty calamari and greek salad. Everything about our stay was relaxing, even though our rooms were next to two families with young kids. We hired a car the first day to drive us up to Fira, but ultimately walked back from the town, bisecting the island for a very lovely walk. We didn't hire a car the rest of the time we were there because it was so nice to walk everywhere.

This place is honestly so beautiful and quiet. We found the private pool to be so clean and the perfect temperature. The resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and very welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant, the food was amazing. I highly recommend this villa with private pool. We really enjoyed our stay. We did hire a car whilst we were in Santorini so this helped us get around the island which we really recommend. Our children loved the pool and comfy sun loungers.

This hotel is not where it claims to be. It actually suited us fine to be away from everything but you need to know this. The hotel itself is beautiful but the rooms and decor need an upgrade. The issue is management. Everything you need to know, we found out within 5 minutes. We had arranged transport from the port through the hotel. There was nobody there and we were forced to take a public bus, dropping everybody off first, noting how far away this was, for double the already steep price. I was in contact with them at this time and expected some kind of apology when we arrived. Instead were told in no uncertain terms that it was our fault. The owner then arrived (imagine basil faulty by the sea) and explained to us that he GPS and he can track his driver and his driver was there. We explained that the whole point is not just to be there but to hold up a sign that shows our name or the hotel and that it is very much in our interests to meet this and take us to the hotel instead of being scammed and waiting hours and missing our first Santorini sunset. He again explained about GPS and maybe I don't know what it is because I'm from Africa. I explained to him that you should respond to your email or maybe call me to find out where I am if a driver is there. Basil didn't appreciate any of this and we somehow managed to negotiate not paying for the service he didn't provide but still maintaining it's our fault that we missed sunset. When we went for dinner, this guy is sitting at the best table and getting all the waiters to fuss over him at the expense of his guests. There were many other small things but you get the idea when a guy like this running things how bad it can be

Really lovely place to stay 5 minute drive from Fira. Ideal place to stay in Santorini if you want to be away from the crowds but still very close to the main town. We rented a car which made it perfect. The honeymoon villa had a lovely private pool and plenty of space and privacy. Incredible sunrise view!

Lovely place! Everything was beautiful and immaculate however on day 3 some of my clothes went missing and could not be found anywhere. I asked at the front desk but they were nowhere to be found. Very strange and upsetting. Taxis were quite expensive so would take that into consideration. Par from those things everything was amazing and food was delicious too! Also made a lovely cat friend :)

Excellent service, great rooms, very quiet and peaceful...not a lot of options for breakfast but the lunch was great. Used the spa services on the last day, amazing massage and facial. Grateful for the shuttle transportation service. This is my second time in Santorini but my first time at this resort. Would definitely return again.

Stayed here from 11th July - 15th July 2023 and everything was perfect. Staff are super helpful. Rooms are clean and absolutely stunning. Having a private pool was fabulous. We hired a car which we parked in the car park on site. Hotel is located just outside Fira which is lovely as you’re away from the busy tourist areas. Cannot fault anything as everything was perfect from start to finish.

went to Greece to celebrate my husband's birthday. He died on July 20, 2022, from a bad car accident. We were planning his 60th birthday in Greece. I decided to continue with the birthday plans and took my girlfriend went with me. I got a little nervous because of some reviews I read, but those reviews are all lies. I have traveled worldwide and stayed at the world's only seven-star hotel in Dubai. Trust me. The Desiterra is an excellent hotel with a perfect location, located away from the crowd, immaculate & beautiful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist Dora, and she made our trip more enjoyable with her advice & tips about Santorini and transportation. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant. The breakfast was terrific. I had a Greek omelet “OMG” delicious!! The prices for food and drinks are reasonable. I recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true example of excellent hospitality. Two drivers for the shuttle were outstanding as well. They both were helpful and made sure we got to our destination. I even gave one of the drivers a big hug when he dropped me off at the Port to take the ferry to Mykonos. We were able to meet the owner Dimitri. He was so friendly, and he was celebrating his wife’s birthday. Dimitri made sure we were enjoying our stay. Thank you again, Desiterra, for making my first trip to Greece extra a memorable one. I can’t wait to return with my Circle ⭕️ of Trust girlfriends.
