This place has such enormous potential-- the rooms are modern and spacious, with lovely high ceilings. The location is terrific. BUT-- the staff is almost laughably indifferent. The rooms bizarrely lack basic amenities-- like water glasses! It would take so little to bring everything up a notch-- why NOT have tea/coffee making facilities in each room for example? Another tip-- avoid the basement breakfast restaurant at all costs-- it is dark windowless and depressing with surly service and a complicated system of stuffing all the food in jars . The Museum's cafe, Taba, is also on-site and far nicer.

Excellent location while arriving at the local Train / Bus station. Quiet and comfortable. Very nice toiletries provided by staff.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel with our 10 month old. The rooms are spacious and stylish and the service impeccable. We loved the facilities offered and it was in a good location for us - right next to the train station and walking distance to the beach yet far enough away to feel as if you were getting a real taste of Donostia. We asked for a cot for our daughter and this was set up when we arrived. They even provided a rubber duck for her to play with. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Thank you - diolch.

A nice hotel near the station. Quite a trendy slightly quirky hotel. The room was large with a king sized bed. Storage not particularly adequate. Small bar fridge, tv , wifi and coffeemaker.Breakfast was a new concept of everything measured portions displayed in jars ! The idea being to cut down waste foods and reduce plastic.

The property is very cute and particular, very hipster, although very expensive rate per night considering the (not) services you get.
Breakfast in jar is a nice concept and all products were very good quality.
Room had tiny windows, so little light but
Bed was very comfortable. we had issues with bed linens (poor conditions) that were changed promptly.
The shower kept getting clogged, terrible cleaning condition of the door finishing…..
We got Connecting rooms so make sure to ask for another option! Loud noises coming from the other guests entering and leaving the next door room, tiny walls.
Gym is dirty, extremely humid, smell of mildew and underground so no light again. No one cleaned it or sanitizes it after usage, not even housekeeping.
Unfortunately no compensation of any kind was given at check out, just a brief apology, as the reservation was made on ******* and not directly with them.

Nothing like the website! Rooms are not what they seem. Ours had a window so high we did not see outside… felt like a glorifies prison. Tried to get a water from the fridge - beware at €300 there is no complimentary water - and it was not possible as the fancy water at €3 needed a bottle opener and none is provided! The entrance is so confidential you might miss it, Waze certainly did. Which is the best that can happen, give it a miss! A good point: the night staff was friendly.

Beautiful rooms in the same building as a cultural centre / cafe within easy walking distance of the city centre. Would have liked tea / coffee facilities in the room but otherwise perfect

This was our third hotel in San Sebastian and our least favorite. There was no parking on site and it was expensive to park about a 10 minute walk away. I should have noted this before booking. The hallway carpet was quite dirty. There were no good restaurants in the area.
On the good side, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were large.
