The male staff is not very helpful to order Uber, but happy to take tips, homeless got into hotel to get recycled bottles

The worst thing was no water pressure. Really was looking forward to my hot shower. Very expensive breakfast rates. Was a perfect location.

Good enough, great location

衞生：非常乾淨的酒店，所有設施也很乾凈 設施：挺齊全的。 環境：相當方便，離著名的little Italy 市場僅幾分鐘路程，就兩個街區，離Karl Strauss啤酒釀酒餐廳也就兩個街區。 服務：前台的工作人員很好，辦理入住時也沒給小費，每天打擾衞生的服務生打掃得挺乾淨的，我那天早上放2美金小費在桌上給打掃的工作人員。 早餐是在一樓的餐廳，不是自助餐，而是a la carte 點餐的，服務特別好，廚房是一位老師傅，三明治做得特別美味！ 是一家性價比很高的酒店！

酒店比較舊了，房間設施陳舊，衞生情況還可以。高速公路就在旁邊，噪音很大。早餐不是自選的。總體來説不值這個房價。

Was visiting on business. Great location near to Little Italy where there are numerous good eating outlets. The Gaslamp and waterfront areas are only about a 15-20 min walk away.

Enjoyed the stay. The only that would give me anxiety was going in and out of their parking garage. Other than that, i enjoyed my stay.

It was okay, location was great. The elevators were broken so only 1 was working. My room had a bit of a smell and the sink was a little dirty. But the staff was great and I loved that they gave you cookies LOL.

Property was easily accessible from the freeway and a short 5 minute walk to the metro station.

Great location and clean. My only negative were the elevators, there was always a delay.

The location of this property was PERFECT! Tons of delicious food & fun things to do within walking distance. Hotel service was great, provided water & fresh baked cookies upon check in. Will recommend!

PROS: They have free EV charging in their parking garage CONS: The tub drain was clogged so water accumulated during usage. This was a big turn off when using the facilities.

I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Downtown, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was needlessly stressful due to a communication issue with the staff. Despite having booked a room for four people, the receptionist insisted it was only for two. When I tried to show my booking confirmation, she refused to look at it, causing unnecessary tension. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The waiter insisted that we could only order the American breakfast because the chef was too busy, promising a 30-minute wait for any other options. Strangely, our friends, who ordered differently, received their meals within five minutes. The waiter failed to communicate that even within the American breakfast, there were choices for eggs and other components. Adding to the frustration, the waiter explicitly mentioned the expectation of tips without providing a service that warranted it. Overall, the check-in process and breakfast experience significantly detracted from the enjoyment of our stay. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.
