Samara Chillout Lodge - Adults Only

We were there January 20-27th 2024. This lodge is very clean. Our room (superior at second floor with balcony) was very clean Cleaning lady every day. Big bathroom with big shower. I gave a 3 stars because there is no fridg in the room. This is a must. Yes we can put our things in the mini fridg at the private kitchen but not a lot of space. Just for a bottle of water. And there is no dresser with drawers in the room. Nothing to put on our luggage on arrival. Only place is on the bed or on the floor!!! Yes there is a big closet with a lot of hangers. I wished I had more than just a bed sheet. A bedspread would have been nice!! There are a lot of dogs barking at night. I know they are not at the lodge but it keeps you awake!! The breakfast is 20$ US. Yes it is a nice breakfast but for a couple it is 40$ US. We didn’t have a car and it was a bit far in the morning to walk for breakfast, I wished we had a choice of what to eat with a price. 2 toasts and jam would be enough for a little price. The coffee was free. Thanks! One week without a car is a bit long. Walk and walk at 35 degres on a dusty road. Tip. Bring a flashlight for your way back at night. Loved the rocking chairs!! Pool always clean and beautiful lights at night. Nice music all day long! It is new owners. And the prices are higher !

Such a beautiful hidden oasis not too far from the the beach, 15 min walk.. cleanliness of the hotel5/5!! Breakfast was amazing, such pleasant staff. Can use the pool anytime after 9 .. Much Recommended stay! Hosts know the best restaurants around.

The manager was very grumpy and rude. She complained a lot and has a bad attitude. Samara has a very peaceful and relaxed vibe but you won’t find that at this hotel. My favourite activities in Samara were yoga at the Intercultura Center and surfing at Chocos surf school.

This is one of the nicest boutique hotels we’ve visited! The owners are so charming and enthusiastic to share all there is to know about Samara. Truly a wonderful experience with nice personal touches. Very conveniently located about a 10 min walk to the main part of town & beach and in a residential area. Exceptionally clean, delicious & fresh breakfast, beautiful grounds, very tasteful artwork throughout the hotel, and we hope to be back! If you have the opportunity to visit Samara (which I highly recommend!), you will not regret staying here. I’d give this boutique hotel six stars if I could!

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of being the guests of Tina and Jorg (pronounced George) at their lovely Inn this past week. They could not make their guests feel more at home. About the Inn: Its located in a residential district on the north side of town. They have built a 5 room oasis of tropical trees and plants, beautiful furniture and art. Do ask Tina for a garden tour. The pool is a perfect temperature for cooling off and there is lots of sun during the middle of the day. The room: First they are immaculate. Tastefully decorated. With interesting touches like the lamp shades made of drift wood. Hard to describe. Huge shower with good water pressure. Breakfast: Louds of fresh fruit, meat, cheese and freshly baked breads. Jorg will make you some eggs to order. Most of the guests are German speaking, but, and this is a big but, they seem so happy to speak English, so don't hesitate to stay here on that account. Step through the gate to a different world, a gorgeous oasis with a very chill vibe. Friendly service, super clean and very comfortable! I was visiting family right next door so it was perfect. Thanks for a great stay!

Chillout Lodge is a gorgeous place to stay in Samara. Jorg and Tina the hosts are just lovely and make you feel very welcome and at home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. The pool is set in a pretty garden and there are comfortable loungers. I really recommend the breakfasts which are fresh, delicious and generous. Bikes available for hire too. All in all, a great experience.

My friend and I stayed at Samara Chillout Lodge for four nights but we would have loved to stay longer. First of all: the place is absolutely spotless. The rooms are super clean and you will struggle to find a single leaf in the pool! Second but even more importantly: the staff is super inviting and happy to share their great knowledge of local eateries and bars. Tina and Jörg were the kindest and most caring hosts. The honesty bar with cold Softdrinks and beers adds to the personal touch. The street felt very safe and you got a really good feeling of Samara life which we loved. We have had a very special time there and would 100 per cent recommend to stay there!

Loved the easy going vibe of the lodge - a perfect place to chill after a hot day at the beach and in town. The lodge is located in a family neighbourhood, a short walk from Samara centre. Super clean, lovely design and plenty of lounging space around the pool and dining areas. Rooms are large and bed comfy. Our hosts were really kind and had plenty of good recommendations for restaurants in the area. We will definitely return.
