Hotel Best Punta Dorada

Belle vue mer et piscine. Proche de Portaventuraworld. Par contre bruyant, restaurant au sous-sol, dîner médiocre et pas de place de parking.

Nice, clean quiet hotel. Rooms were nice but pillows not comfortable. Pool temperature was absolutely freezing even with the 25/26 degrees weather you would not want to go in. Pool area was nice but same music over played & not a lot of entertainment. The bar food at the pool area was awful - chicken nuggets came out grey coloured. It is about 10 mins in taxi to the centre of salou so consider this. Nothing really around the hotel eg shops unless you want to walk up a bit. You can walk to the centre of salou but it is about 30 mins & uphill walk. Staff were friendly & it was a clean hotel but I would not be back due to the above points. Would not recommend if you are looking for a lively hotel more so for a quiet break. Also very quiet around end of September.

Hotel is very well located in a calm place but not far to crowdy place Salou,where are based a lot of restaurants and shops. Hotel room was very comfortable, big enough.Beds could be more larger. Very nice bathroom. If you have a halfboard, there are reasanable prices for Drinks. Hotel stuff are very friedly especially waiters in restaurant. Meal was tasty. Almost each night other kind of cuisine ( sushi, seafood…) i would recomend this hotel. Very easy by bus to go to other places around as to Cambrils, Salou, Pineda to see how does it look like there.

We stayed as a couple (42m & 35f) for 5 nights all inclusive, in July 2023. Some general observations, hints & tips in no particular order: - Amazing shower - good pressure and temperature range. - Food serving times at the time of our stay: Breakfast 8am - 10.30am, Lunch 1.30pm - 3pm, Dinner 8pm - 10pm. -  As above, we opted for the All Inclusive option. Food was very much the same each day, with small variations - got boring quickly. It was however of a decent standard and we didn't get ill. - The music played in the communal parts needs expanding on - seems to only be the same 2-3 CDs played daily. - Despite my above comment on the food being good, the pool snack bar was dire. - Entertainment terrible. Water Aerobics had same awful and obnoxiously loud playlist daily. - The hotel seemed pretty empty beginning of July. - 10e return trip to hotel from centre of Salou. Note if you walk into town its a 35 minute uphill walk. - Disagree with other reviews as to all inclusive guests being ignored - we got served just as slowly as everyone else! :D - Not truly all inclusive - surcharge on a number of cocktails for example. Cocktails appeared to be out the drinks gun, with the applicable spirits added, resulting in pretty poor quality drinks. The all inclusive beer was Estrella, so that was decent. - Small beds (but then I am 6ft 4). - Air Con not greatest, not a freezer, but to be fair room was a nice temperature. Taking everything into consideration. I don't think that I would  recommend this hotel. There was no defining moment or disaster, just too many ******* for my liking. I guess it does however "do what it says on the tin".

Great hotel, friendly staff, rooms were clean and spacious, good food with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Ideal location, short walk to beach, local shops, bars and restaurants. Close to bus stop, giving easy access to different tastes. I would say the location is probably not suited to anyone with limited mobility, as there was a lot of uphill walking, but for everyone else would definitely recommend.

Very nice staff, we wanted another room and that was no problem. Food is good and plenty of choice. There is a busstop nearby that will bring you to the center ( 7 minutes). Rooms are clean, beds are great. Excellent price/ quality.

Just got home from a lovely 5 night stay at the hotel. We couldn’t be more pleased with the stay with everything from the rooms (beds were amazing!!!) the bathroom and the views. Some drinks provided in the fridge if all inclusive. The food was great, good selection for everyone and so much to choose from! The drinks were good, if you asked you got branded and for a sub charge of €1 you could have redbull, bottles of beer etc. Bar snacks available, ham and cheese toasties, chips, hot dogs and burgers. The all inclusive options were great, included ice creams like cornettos and ice lollies too, bottles of water were free too!!! The hotel in itself is very lovely, it’s so clean and it’s beautifully done. The hotel is situated away from Salou town but actually we didn’t mind that!! It was nice and quiet, with cap de salou turning right at the top of the road and following it round for some bars and restaurants where we ate. We also walked into Salou town centre along the coast (a few steps on the way) which had nice views!! The pool area was decent sized, never a fight for a sunbed. The only downside is the sun not hitting the pool till midday? And the pool was absolutely freezing!! Maybe due to being the end of September but it was still nice to look at. Lastly let me just speak about the staff, every single member of staff works hard day in day out, with smiles on their faces and very welcoming and ALWAYS happy to help. Thank you to the reception staff, the bar staff, the restaurant staff, the cleaners and all other staff for making our stay memorable! We will be back!!!!

The sea view was amazing! The bathroom was surprisingly large and the beds were comfy. The hotel was clean with everything we needed and they provided a nice range of food at the restaurant. The surrounding area was beautiful & quiet, the week was perfect.

Best punta is a lovely hotel very clean the location was great and amazing views ......would I stay here again never.......unfortunately this hotel has one big issue soundproofing between rooms it was the only downfall of or holiday
