Aparthotel Cye Holiday Centre

Good points Lovely and gleaming clean hotel. Spacious apartments and staff at both reception and all other parts really nice and helpful. Room fantastic - 2 lovely big showers and pack with washing essentials great idea. Pool relatively small but wasn’t crowded, plenty of beds and on the whole able to get a bed in a reasonable amount of time. No inflatables allowed but soft ball/diving sticks allowed. Lifeguard on most of day Was half board and food nice but not a massive choice compared to other places and quite repetitive with no grilled to order option but what we had was tasty - good drinks service and no queues or bun fight to the buffet, also ate from pool side snack menu - pizzas lovely and 10 euro for a pizza for 2 so reasonable too Some entertainment of a night time - usually supplied by a lovely guy who works tirelessly but is limited to mostly a quiz, bi go, one man Caberet Games room for kids/teens with a couple of pool tables (2 euros per game) and a football pitch and little play park Not so great Rooms by lifts - sooooo noisy as doors by loft slam shut - need signs to tell people to be quiet and soft close doors! View - non pool view rooms overlook a disused railway bridge or a car park - noisy too with surrounding noise but can upgrade to pool view Beds quite hard but personal preference - sofa bed softer Vegetarian choice of food on buffet was extremely limited - potatoes and veg usually put in the the meat so limits options even further - salad the same every day, no cheese at dinner. Went out for dinner as my poor sister had more or less the same meal for 6 days! Would be good if had an actual vegetarian main dish and veggies kept separate and some cheese for the salad A couple of times there were no sun beds available - I was disgusted to realise that people from other hotels came in via the side entrance to sit round the pool - this isn’t fair on the paying people who are unable to get a sunbed but also security wise Walls very thin - nothing I guess can be done about this but did affect our stay due to swearing and loud neighbours/guests above who seemed to drag chairs around all night too 😏 Overall lovely place and staff, would deffo Come back to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool on the top floor with only 1 neighbour 🙂

This would be our sixth time staying at the CYE. Yes everytime has been a different experience. The CYE is convenient to all local amenities, beach etc. The complex just gets better year after year. Great to see the pool lifeguard removing towels that people have reserved and gone away. I have only a few issues , not hotels fault. People in apartments seem to drag the patio/ kitchen chairs along the ground and it vibrates into your room. Apart from that we'll be hopefully back in September price dependant.

We are just on our way home from such a lovely stay! The rooms were tidy, bright and clean, the staff were always happy to help and the hotel itself was just all round great. We did not go half board but did pay to eat one time at the buffet - that was not too our liking. The food was presented well with quite a lot of choice but just not what we enjoy. HOWEVER - the bar snack food was incredible and we probably ate something from there everyday. (Highly recommend the pizzas). I was sceptical after reading some reviews but I am so glad we went and would not hesitate to return. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the busiest part of Salou (but the beach and shops are only 3 minutes away at the bottom of the road). We also walked from the Hotel to portaventura which was only 30 minutes). We managed to get this hotel at a fabulous price especially with the majority of it being in the half term and we would definitely had paid more. Also, the entertainment is a one man band who puts his all into everything and makes sure all his guests are having a good time. (Not related to the Hotel itself, but if you are getting shared shuttle transfers from the airport be warned they will drop you off a 10 minute walk away from the Hotel meaning you have to walk up residential streets away from the main roads which is not fun when you have children, suitcases and no awareness of where you are.. especially at 3am like our drop off was) We look forward to returning in the near future!

Would not recommend this hotel. Cannot understand the reviews at all. Food is cold flys all over it. Went half board and for dinner could not get water or coffee. Received 5 free drinks as this was how many people we had. Ordered alcohol drinks was told only water coffee with these free drinks. Room dark and not to my liking. Asked for towels and was told only every 2nd day. We only stayed 2 nights so are we either meant to reuse towels or only shower once? Would not stay again

This is my 4th visit to these appartments, As usual they are clean, comfortable and have everything you need for your stay. The lovely polite cleaning staff alway made sure our bins were emptied and we had clean towels and plenty of loo roll. Reception, Bar and restaurant staff are very friendly and really helpful.💫 Last year we had a issue with mobility scooters not being allowed in the appartment foyer so we were unable to go many places, i was assured it was only a temporary issue. True to there word, they now have an area with seperate entrance and you can also charge the batteries. Already planning our next year trip. Been coming to salou for the last 8 years , salou cye holiday centre is by far the best appartments we have stayed in.

This apartment was absolutely brilliant and great value for money. Extremely clean, right next to all the shops and bars, and directly down the road feom the beach!

Spotless hotel with very friendly staff from reception cleaners entertainer this is a very safe place to stay with young children. There is a little playground also enclosed area. Pools are nice with two poolgaurds on at all times . We didn't go for the food but others there say it wars nice . Would definitely recommend it for families.the beah and afll the shops bars and restaurants are close by We will come back ..

The hotel was very good and to be honest could of been a 5 star if the bar staff and deposit system were better. On arrival we were asked to pay cash deposit which was not explained on booking. We had no issue with deposits but the cash element immediately took some of our cash, didn’t spoil our experience but was unexpected. From the beginning the staff were very friendly and attentive. We booked in at about 4pm and it was speedy and we’re in our room within 15 minutes. The room was exactly as described and shown on the photos. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. It had comfortable beds, living area and kitchen area. The additional beds were in the hallway and living room but didn’t cause any issues. We had a balcony over looking the swimming pool which was great. We had full board and the dining times were good allowing us to go out and return for food. The dining room staff were very attentive and nothing was too much. The bar staff were very busy serving the restaurant and bar which did mean a slight wait? I found the bar staff a little unfriendly, possibly because they were so busy? The hotel was very clean and there were cleaners constantly working. The swimming pool was very busy throughout the day and even though the hotel policy was no reserving beds, this happened on a regular basis! The location of the hotel was perfect for us, 5 minutes from the beach and within easy reach of restaurants and bars. We would definitely use the hotel again.

Staying here at the moment...there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling which had obviously happened before as there was a hole in the ceiling and the maintainence guy did not even ask where the leak was..knew straight away..not even a sorry for the inconvenience or any kind of apology from reception..clean hotel but towels only changed once and sheets not changed at all and we have been here 4 nights..good location close to promenade and beach but disappointed with service because of room issue..we may have been unfortunate with room on 5th floor
