Hotel Best Cap Salou

El hotel esta bastante bien, las habitaciones son bastante grandes, las camas comodas y el balcon tiene unas vistas muy bonitas. Pero hay algunas cosas que mejorar en cuanto a la limpieza, sobretodo del baño, ya que por ejemplo, la puerta no cerraba. Además donde se ponia el jabon estaba bastante oxidado. En cuanto a todo lo demás muy bien. Destacaria las piscinas, para los niños son muy divertidas ya que hay diversos toboganes, ademas de una piscina grande para los adultos.

El hotel está bien, pero la masificación en las zonas comunes hace que sea horrible bajar al comedor,es excesivo. El baño perdía agua y un ruido constante. Por lo demás está bien ubicado y calidad precio es buena.

Absolutely avoid this hotel at all cost if you value your heath was supposed to stop for a week only ended up staying 2 days before getting moved at extra cost due to food poisoning we was all inclusive but ate out due to the poor food quality and practices raw meat was cross contaminated with cook food and most of the food was undercooked The rooms were dirty and extremely dated the staff were all rude and unhelpful the larger on tap tasted like the pumps were unclean Location was 1 hour walk from Salou and not much around do not go to this hotel

Avoid this hotel! Staff are extremely rude especially to English they seemed very friendly with the Spanish! We stayed a week and our room got cleaned once in that whole week I was having to go down to reception daily to ask for new bedding and towels, cleaners shouted in our faces after just walking into our room when we weren’t dressed! Food was awful we ended up having to use uber eats all week for some food or go to the restaurant near by, not much of a selection of food and anything on there was just really not nice! The room was not clean when we first arrived all dusty and had loads of rubbish underneath the bed! On day of arrival staff were instantly rude we arrived at 12pm and they said come back at 2pm for your room didn’t tell us where we can leave our cases or where anything is for food or drink but the Spanish instantly knew where they could leave there cases we ended up having to ask our rep who then sorted it out for us but even our rep said they are very rude! The shops near by are really over priced. The Aircon did not work all week so we was having to sleep with the balcony door open, the balcony door did not lock at all! The bathroom door handle kept falling off so was having to rescrew it in multiple times a day, the curtain in the room was hanging off so couldn’t be used.

Still here now for another 2 days but thought I would share our family holiday experience. Having read alot of reviews on this place before arriving we had some reservations about it, Namely the amount of reviews about the food. I'll be completely honest the food is by no means brilliant but it is edible. For what we paid we wasn't expecting Michelin star food. It can be repetitive but when it's just to fill a hole it's more than manageable. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided on this basis. Rooms are well appointed but do not have tea or coffee making facilities this isn't overly a issue as this is available at the bar. The indoor pool looks like it needs cleaning but your in Spain why would you want to be indoors when the weather is amazing. The staff at the pool bar can come across a bit rude but I don't think that is intended, the language barrier is the reason. There is one older guy who mainly works evening behind the bar and he's absolutely brilliant and really appreciates people who like myself atleast tries Spanish. He even remembers my wife and I orders so when he serves us we rarely have to ask what drinks we want which is a nice touch. The little beach just off the pool is a nice little touch. Animation team work hard for the kids and there are some evening shows more adult focused but not every night. All in all this hotel does exactly what it does on the tin. It's cheap and cheerful, I've stayed in 4 star hotels in Spain that have been worse. If your looking for a hotel that has outstanding food then this won't be for you but if your looking for a hotel for a decent price and your reasonable with your expectation then I would 100% stay here. People expect too much these days for their money but all in all if you have booked this place and you are worried like I was then please don't be. Its basic stuff but its also a lovely area and a lot better than the reviews!

Just returned after 11 nights, had a brilliant time. Stayed as a family of 4. Kids were in the pool every day. Was only a short 20 min walk to town. The food was varied we all found something everyday! All very edible 😋 there was a great variety of all inclusive drinks including cocktails and slushie. The staff in the hotel were great, very polite. Our room and bedding were cleaned regularly. We got through with out any sickness bugs at all. Would happily come here again!

The pool facilities made this 2/5 The slides are fantastic can't fault them helped keep the children occupied. Only fault is even if you're all inclusive you can't take your all inclusive drinks to the pool with all the slides these much be purchased. Height requirement of 1.1 for the multi coloured slide The reception is big and open and seems clean, unlike other reviews I had a really good experience with reception. Room is very small for a family of 4 and there are alot of loud noises through the night at all hours. Having young children the kids entertainment wasn't brilliant, a few day time activities at the kids club which was very limited, the inside pool is very dirty would avoid this. The night time entertainment didn't start till 9pm and was a 30-35 minute of kids dance songs then it was over. Food wasn't good and for someone who isn't a fussy eater I found the options limited, not expecting 5* at all inclusive but everything was greasy and just didn't looks cooked correctly also a limited amount of descriptions on what each food was. It is roughly a 1 hour walk into Salou or a 13 euro taxi each way. Over all this isn't the worst hotel I've stayed in I wish we went room only but after speaking to another guest room only guests have to pay for the slide water park... Wouldn't stay again made some good memories but wouldn't recommend please trust the reviews Being all inclusive the selection of drinks at the bar were great

Not the most ideal for couple with no kids. We spent a week at the hotel which we went for the All Inclusive package. The room was reasonable, although we didn’t have much of a view and the cleaning staff were there daily and at a reasonable time. Food The food was a buffet style meal time and as I’m awkward and can’t eat food that loads of people have touched or may have touched, so we didn’t eat at the hotel. We spent every night eating out and some of the food options around were fantastic. Route 66 is a great option for Breakfast and Dinner time and is on the doorstep of the hotel. We also saw someone leave the food hall heading right to the toilet holding their stomach, pretty much summed up that the food wasn’t a good idea, other reviews also say the same. Staff We had limited interactions with the staff but for the few we had were both good and bad. The cleaning staff were great, anything you asked for they’d get you sorted and didn’t waste time in the rooms. The reception staff (spoke to them twice) one of which who greeted you on arrival was fantastic, the other not so much felt like she was rather condescending. We had an issue with the bar staff at the downstairs outside pool where we made a request and the member of staff we dealt with made some sort of remark to her coworker and they both laughed. Pretty much the last time we really used the hotels facilities besides sleeping. We did notice at the bar unless you spoke Spanish you’d be pretty much ignored or left to shout at staff to get them to serve you half the time. What to do? There isn’t much to do at the hotel itself unless your just looking to chill out by the pool and have some drinks or if your there with family. As a couple we spent almost every day walking into Salou itself and spending the entire day there. Leaving Thoughts Honestly not the worst place but I don’t think we’d consider coming back here. We felt we’d have been better going room only and skipping the All Inclusive, something we’ll do going forward.

Do not go here if you are Irish Or Black. A Woman Stepped on our children's feet and admitted to doing so, the manager didn’t do anything. The manager said he would call the Police if i kept on telling him what was going on. Rooms were okay, Heated pool is VERY DIRTY, Outdoor pool is Clean, And slides were fun .
