Serendipity

An amazing stay in an authentic historic building. The wonderful smell of cooking will stay with me for a long time. The entrance is an a narrow alley and may seem daunting at first, but the locals are friendly. Alfredo is such a kind and friendly host. From the moment we booked, he was helpful and available to answer any questions. He was very generous with water, biscuits, pastries etc that were topped up each day. Italian breakfast was at a wonderful cafe a few minutes away on the main road which was perfect for morning people watching. The apartment was cute, comfortable and superclean. The only negative is that we expected a private kitchen as indicated in the photos, but it is shared with another room. As we were out most of the time, it wasn't a problem, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable cooking a meal. This may have been my assumption and didn't really affect our stay. The other couple were friendly, quiet and also out most of the time. Would def stay again without hesitation.

A little tricky to find, so take careful note of the address and check the map beforehand, but worth the effort as it is an absolute gem. Also there are at least two excellent restaurants right beside it - there may be more, but I only stayed long enough to sample two!

Beautiful place right in the center. I loved the old doors, gate and stairways to the apartment. It was the perfect authentic Italian experience. Inside was modern with lovely decor. Rainfall shower was a treat. Espresso machine, snacks and water were provided. Alfredo was extremely nice and helpful.

The property is located in a fantastic area of Salerno, on a narrow passageway. The entry is wonderful and timeless. We had the two-bedroom apartment to ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Situato in pieno centro storico. Camera molto confortevole e ben arredata, così come il bagno. Perfetto per una gita a Salerno e dintorni. Il responsabile, Alfredo molto disponibile. Possibilità di una sala comune con altra camera con a disposizione tutti i beni di prima necessità.

Ottima posizione, essendo in centro non ci si puó arrivare con l'auto ma il disagio è compensato dal fatto di trovarsi, la sera, in mezzo a locali e ristoranti

Viajé con mi hija. Realmente horrible llegar. Está dentro de un conventillo (edificaciones al rededor super precarias). Por dentro todo lindo. Pero no volveria !!!
