Chateau Gioux

We’ve waited so long to stay here & we finally got to stay at chateau gioux . Absolutely stunning chateau within beautiful grounds Debbie & Nigel the perfect hosts . Evening meal cooked by the lovely Deb absolutely delicious a fantastic cook. We stayed in the vassiviere suite beautiful decorated room comfortable luxury bed & en-suite with roll top bath just beautiful. Debbie & Nigel couldn’t do enough for us such lovely people . We used the hot tub within the grounds which gave a stay that extra special touch . A wonderful stay ,highly recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful 2 nights stay . Andy & Lisa

We have just returned from a holiday in France and en route we spent a night at Chateau Gioux. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Debbie and Nigel are excellent hosts; we received a very warm welcome (including a large glass of wine) and they were extremely attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and the chateau was charming throughout. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal cooked by Debbie. Moreover it was excellent value and included a bottle of wine. Our breakfast was also thoroughly enjoyed. The chateau is in a peaceful, very pretty rural area and we certainly hope to return again on our trips through this wonderful country.

We spent 3 nights with Debbie and Nigel at their fabulous chateau. The location is in a tiny hamlet and so peaceful. The Chateau is very old and authentic. The grounds are lovely. We had a great room, very clean and relaxing. We ate in every night and Debbie is an excellent cook. The food is also great value. The area is lovely and we spent a lot of time at Lac du Vassiviere which is an incredible place to visit. In conclusion we heartily recommend.
