Polynesian Inn

My family stayed here for an extended stay. The couple that own it are living on the property as well. They treat it like it's their home and your room isn't yours it's an extention of THEIR HOUSE. The wife stormed up the steps to our room one night when a friend took me to get groceries and was helping me bring it in and had a full blown melt down bc NO GUESTS ALLOWED. I explained that she was helping me bring the food in. She stood in the doorway and wouldn't let my friend in. One day while we were out the let herself in our room just for fun I guess. It was 7 pm. Housekeeping had already been by at 10 am. She saw us leave and must have thought we went out to eat. We went to get in cream next door. SKIP THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.

Good place for a quick stay. I had no issues. I would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at 8pm after driving since 4am. When I presented my ********** reservation, the front desk lady said they didn't have it. She called the owner and told him the price I paid on the site (it wasn't cheap) and the owner said that under no circumstances was she to give me a room. Then I wasted the next 90 minutes of my life trying to deal with the reservation they didn't honor. Honestly, it was probably for the best as it seemed like a 50/50 proposition that my vehicle and I would have survived the night unscathed anyway. The owner is a horrible man and ruined my night thinking he might be able to squeeze another $20 out of the room...which even that I was willing to pay for a place to lay down but the owner said no.

They would not honor my reservation and literally left me stranded. Would not even let me pay full price. The owner was a completely unreasonable man. He probably did me a favor though because the hotel and the area are a total dump.

We were desperate for a room and this place was a bed. It was fairly clean, however we found a pair of ladies shorts behind the bathroom door. Obviously it wasn't all that clean. The man who booked the room was friendly, but told me he had given me a deal and low and behold, he charged me almost twice what the typical rate was. I feel totally taken advantage of. It is NOT worth more than $80/night. Again, this was a desperation room and would never stay there again if it was any other circumstance.

Stayed here in a pinch. Guy behind desk was nice but found out after we stayed that he charged me more than double the going rate. Feel TOTALLY taken advantage of. Room was not great and there were old shorts from previous guest behind the bathroom door. The pool was green and obviously not taken care of. Not a great place to stay at all! Definitely not worth more than $79 a night. Update: Called to talk to the owner about the price gouging and the fact that the booty shorts were left behind. The owner hung up on me the first time mid sentence and when I called back, treated me VERY harshly and basically told me he didn't care about the fact that the room wasn't clean and that I didn't have to stay there if I didn't like the price. He told me in a not so friendly manner that he's running a business and can do whatever he wants. I would encourage anyone to never stay here just simply for the fact that it is a run down, dirty place and the owner does not care one iota about his customers.

Stopped in on the way home.It was better than most places.

It was basic but but had nice parking right next to the room. There was a testaurant next door that was perfect and very convenient
