Masseria Agrituristica Lama San Giorgio

A charming place surrounded by vineyards and orchards. The rooms are cozy and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is welcoming. We spent three wonderful days at the villa and will definitely return for one of our next vacations.

Fantastic place! The facilities are perfect, the clean pool, sunbeds, and playground for kids are fantastic. The staff is amazing! The only bad thing is that being a farm the work starts and in the morning is a lot of noise. Really early like 5-6 AM

Cons: Water wasn't hot enough for a bath, road noise, bland dinner, "French" style split bed (two mattresses, with a gap in the middle to make a bed for two) Pros: cute place, very clean, abundant breakfast, excellent olive oil. Two people on a short road trip, we had booked this place specifically for the tub, but the water simply wasn't hot enough. It would run warm, then hot, then cold, then warm again. The temperature definitely wasn't stable enough for a shower, but wasn't hot enough for a bath either. Other guests, on the other side of the building, had the same problem. From the other reviews, it's clear they know about this problem, but it's still not resolved and refused to negotiate any kind of discount. The dinner is bland, but okay. If you want a cute, clean place and don't care about a bath and tasty dinner, it's fine.

It already started when we entered the hotel property. The building is in much worse/filthier condition than how it is presented via pictures on the internet. Upon arrival at the hotel, the owner immediately addressed us: ‘if you have any complaints, you can text or call me. I don't want a bad review’. This was literally the first thing we were told when we received it. We got a room in the 'historic' part of the hotel. Historical apparently means old, dilapidated and also dirty.. When we got to the room, we were immediately confronted with insects in the room. The towels and bedding were full of stains. Brown, green and red. The furnishings were dusty and the air con noisy. When we saw this I immediately went to the reception and asked for another room. The answer was: 'hotel is fully booked, no other room available. You can get new towels and bed linen. Those insects simply belong to the countryside.’ I left it there that night because we had to sleep somewhere anyway and we were just afraid that if we started the discussion that night, maybe something would happen to our car or luggage. I'm not scared fast, but this man seemed so intimidating and dangerous that I did get this feeling. After a terrible night, I reached out to the owner (the guy who said he didn't want a bad review and wanted to resolve any issues). He was not at the hotel himself and I was told to explain my problem via whatsapp. Eventually a receptionist of the hotel called the owner so I got him on the phone. Then I indicated that the hotel and the room are dirty and that the hotel is nothing like what is advertised on the internet. We didn't want to spend our last 4 days of vacation in such a miserable way. I indicated that we wanted to go and wanted compensation. The owner literally said, 'It's your problem if you want to go. It is an old building and this is part of it. You will not get any money back. If you don't like it, you should have gone to a resort.’ I gave him the option to return a part of the amount instead of the total, but this was also rejected. The owner of the hotel started threatening the police and the Dutch consulate if I continued to threaten. I have not threatened anyone, only expressed my dissatisfaction and tried to come up with a solution. According to the owner, the solution was to offer the room online again, and if he could sell the room to others we could talk about MAYBE getting a compensation afterwards. How the hotel comes across on the internet and the photos is completely opposite of reality. The rooms are dirty, furniture full of dust, mold/moisture spots on the walls, barely any water pressure which makes showering almost impossible, thin walls so you can clearly hear the neighbors at night and even listen to what program they are watching on television. Da oltre 1 anno ogni volta che mi reco in Puglia per lavoro scelgo questa meravigliosa masseria circondata da piantagioni di uva in un contesto di eleganza ed allo stesso tempo semplicità. Cura di ogni particolare, attenzione al cliente, cortesia vera, volti sorridenti, pulizia e ottimo cibo a partire dalla colazione.

Hôtel charismatique, très bel endroit, superbe chambre, la dame de l accueil est vraiment sympathique ainsi qu un serveur du soir, le seul qui parlait un peu français. J ai aimé les drap de douche épais et qui sèche bien, de l eau bien chaude et directement dans la douche, la chambre est nettoyer tout les jours. Le côté négatif c est l insonorité des chambre on entend les voisins aller aux toilettes ainsi que parler, etc….les mur sont séparé que par un bloc et cela se ressent très fort. La nourriture est à améliorer, le déjeuner très simple ,pas de croissant ni pain aux chocolats que des trucs basic qu on retrouve chez soi.Le repas du soir j ai testé deux fois et je n ai pas du tout apprécié trop simple, pas de savoir, aucun goût, pas de sel , pas de poivre ….

Siamo appena rientrati da una vacanza di tre giorni. L'esperienza in questa struttura è stata al top sia per la tipicità della struttura che per la squisita gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, sempre attento ad ogni esigenza dei clienti. Una speciale menzione per la ragazza di sala che durante le colazioni, ha avuto meticolosa attenzione per la mia intolleranza al lattosio. Veramente grazie di cuore. Mi preme inoltre evidenziare anche il fatto che ho trovato la localizzazione della struttura molto comoda per visitare i luoghi di interesse più conosciuti, da Bari a Trani a Polignano, Monopoli ed Alberobello ecc. Struttura tipica immersa nelle coltivazioni di uva da tavola. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella stanza n.21, che scrivere... semplicemente meravigliosa! Ottima la pulizia e l'ordine sia degli spazi esterni che interni, abbiamo cenato non solo la sera di capodanno ma anche i due giorni successivi e siamo stati super soddisfatti. Colazione ricca, abbondante e genuina, sia salata che dolce.

Cadre magnifique reposant et ressourçant. Un Havre de paix Les chambres celles appelées "suites" sont situées à côté de la piscine. Elles sont magnifiques, propres, bien aménagées, belle salle de bain attenante. Petit espace terrasse à l'arrière sur laquelle se lève le soleil. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours + changement de toutes les serviettes de bain douche toilette tapis de sol. Les lits sont faits également. Cafetière à disposition dans la chambre. Frigidaire. Climatisation. Les espaces de la Masseria sont magnifiques entre les vignes, les oliviers, la ferme, l'aire de jeux, la piscine et ses espaces ombragées. Jeux pour bébé et enfant à disposition. Nous étions en 1/2 pension car avec 3 enfants dont 1 bébé nous ne souhaitions pas prendre la route le soir pour aller chercher des restaurants (bondés d'ailleurs). Celui de la Masseria est très bien. C'est élaboré. Pas de plat "à la bonne franquette". Pour les enfants les menus sont très biens. Tout le personnel est au top ! Mais mention particulière à Donato qui fait tout ce qui est en son pouvoir pour améliorer encore un peu plus l'expérience voyageurs. Je n'ai pas grand chose à redire. J'ai beaucoup embêté Donato avant de réserver car on peut lire des commentaires négatifs. Étant en France quand on réserve c'est toujours déstabilisant de lire des commentaires négatifs. Donato a répondu à l'intégralité des questions que nous nous posions. Donc si mon commentaire peut vous aider à vous décider, allez-y les yeux fermés ! Je parle des suites (chambres de 3 ou 4 pax) car les chambres au-dessus de la réception sont Paraît-il plus vétustes. En terme de proximité avec les lieu touristiques vous êtes à environ 30 à 35mn de chacun. La plage de Monopoli 35 à 40mn selon affluence, Polignano a Mare, environ 25 à 30mn, Bari, 25mn, etc..... Vous aurez compris que nous le conseillons si jamais vous recherche ce type de lieu.
