We stayed 4 nights. We selected Aito for its remote location and its Tree houses. Overall, we had a good stay. Would I go back, probably not due to the rates they charge. The Tree house is nicely done and it was nice to wake up surrounded by trees. We were 3 and I found it a bit small. For a couple it is fine. There is no wardrobe, so you may struggle with space if you have big luggage. The temperature was warm, 27C. We found the way to reduce it and it was comfortable. The staff is really friendly and very international. It is one of the plus of this resort although I would have liked to speak to some Finnish to make it a bit more authentic. The restaurant in the evening is quite good and it was never too crowded. Wine selection is small but all wines were good! They have a children menu which is appreciated. On the down side, the prices could be reduced by 20% easily. For instance, they will charge you bread for 8,5€ if you want additional bread, same for fries… I am a breakfast person and I found the selection and quality limited. Only a buffet, not scrambled eggs, yogurts, limited fruits, no fresh juice. Even the coffee is made out of a machine, not really 5*… The spa is well made although I find that only Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are on point. The other pools must be hardly used. The sauna is authentic which makes you feel you are in Finland. They do propose activities which I may not recommend unless you want a quick experience . There are other companies in Rovaniemi which we have used and have shown their passion for what they do and made our activities more interesting. Obviously, the transfers are very expensive but I may say taxis too. You can get to Rovaniemi for 100€ with a taxi which is more interesting from 3 persons. As others said, there is potential but It is not worth the price paid. I put the money for a one of a lifetime experience but it did not feel like it… it lacked character.
