絕佳的地點，溫馨的服務，因為是老房子，所以樓梯有點多，但服務人員體貼的幫我們把所有行李搬近房間。早餐很好吃。飯店整體而言非常可愛，希望下次還能再次重遊。

チェックインが１２時近くになりましたが問題なく、とても対応が良かったです。お部屋はおしゃれで可愛いライトがあり、タオルもたくさんあり、紅茶もお水も用意されていました。バスタブとシャワーが別々になっていてゆっくり広々できました。朝食が何よりも素晴らしかったです。朝ごはんを食べる際に自分の好きなものを選択することができ、また種類も豊富でとても美味しかったです。ローテンブルクにまたくることがあったら必ずここにまた泊まります。

Excellent hotel with great customer service. The owners and colleagues are really friendly and helpful. Food is lovely, relaxed and enjoyable breakfast with lots of selection all served to you at the table. Evening meal also superb, would definitely recommend this hotel. We were in Room 106, which we loved. Lots of bedroom space and huge bathroom with shower and bath! We will definitely return to this hotel! Rothenburg is an absolute delight, lots to do and see. Recommend the Crime and Punishment museum etc… etc … It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we are so pleased we chose Rothenburg and this hotel to celebrate

The Romantik hotel had it all - history (as old as the inner wall - 13th century! - since it was originally the tax building for the gate), location, friendly staff, elegant breakfast, quiet and large comfy room. Our stay in this hotel was a high point of our visit to this charming town.

Such a beautiful and charming building and hotel! We stayed 2n for our first visit to this medieval, walled city, and were warmly welcomed and given our choice of 3 lovely rooms. We chose a beautiful, newly updated room on the first floor with a lovely bathroom with a mural in the shower. Very spacious, comfortable, and perfectly outfitted. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast with made to order eggs, and everything was elegantly presented. This was definitely a hotel to remember for our 50th wedding anniversary,and we will highly recommend this to anyone for a special stay. Thank you to the charming hosts and staff.

Such a lovely hotel! I was fortunate enough to find this wonderful place while on a business trip. The location itself is fabulous, and the lobby is clean, quaint and historical. This is a family business, and it shows. Home brewed beer, great food, parking and lots of friendly interactions with the owners. I will definitely be back for my trips in the area, and I look forward to it!

Stayed here one night and we were super impressed. It was a rare combination of charming and modern. Had all the modern conveniences in the room while having the incredible coziness of a generations old hotel. We paid a modest upgrade for a suite which was super spacious with a beautiful tub and shower. Place was amazing. Lizzie at the desk was great. She is customer service oriented and super friendly. If you are in Germany, come to this gem of a town and stay here.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room (for 3) was very modern and spacious with a courtyard which we unfortunately did not use because the weather was grim. The bathroom is separate from the toilet. I loved the built-in light on the mirror. No fridge in the room but that would be my only complaint. The hotel is a charming old building with creaky staircases and floor boards, centrally located. We were welcomed on arrival by a friendly lady with excellent English. Breakfast is included with eggs cooked fresh. There was smoked salmon, cheese, rolls, fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffees. Other stuff I can't remember. A feast to set you up for the day. Thoroughly recommended and will stay again if we find ourselves in Rothenburg.

We went to Germany in November with another couple before the Christmas Markets were open. We traveled initially to Frankfurt for the Patriots game and planned on traveling around for another week. We had an ambitious route we were going to drive. We left Frankfurt on Monday morning went through Baden Baden on the way to Colmar France. Then we set off for Lucerne Switzerland for a couple of days. Our next destination was Fussen Germany and then to Rothenburg Germany. Other than Frankfurt we did not have any hotels reserved or even investigated. We thought we knew what town we were going to but not how long and wanted to keep flexible. We picked a hotel maybe a couple of hours before we arrived. We decided to stay at the Romantik Hotel Markusturm and fortunately they had room. Upon arrival our wives went inside as we waited in the car to await further instructions on our bags and car parking. The next is our rear hatch on our SVU opened and our bags were being taken out. The gentleman's name was Hero. He grabbed all our bags and carried them upstairs. The man was a horse, crazy strong and a real gentleman. We never felt so welcome at a hotel as here. It is a very old building, and every room is different. It really feels like a cross between a B&B and a Boutique hotel. We decided we would like to stay an additional night and fortunately they did have the room. But they were so pleased that we chose to stay another night. Believe it or not the 2 rooms we had were available and they were the last 2 rooms. The rooms were perfect, my point is they were not just the leftover rooms they were awesome. Our breakfasts were included, and the food and service were amazing. It was not a buffet it was table service, which I prefer. We spent quite a bit of time speaking with the owner Lilo. She is very interesting and fun to have talked to, especially about the history of the hotel and the town. We also loved the town of Rothenburg. We will definitely be back and would love to experience Christmas season and markets.

This was an outstanding, sweet hotel. We arrived after a very long flight from California to Frankfurt Airport. Drove 2 hours to Hotel Markustrum. The check in was fast and we were so inspired by the town we decided to get out and explore ( in-spite of our tiredness ) The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the main square. It is close to cute shops, restaurants and bakeries. We throughly enjoyed the free breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The owner was extremely hard working. He waited on us at breakfast and was manning the front desk in the evening when we went to the lobby for a glass of wine. We loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend it to our friends and family!

We’ve travelled a lot in the last 25 years, this charming hotel just elevated our expectations even higher. A fantastic property in the heart of Rothensburg in an inn dating back to the 1200s, the Markustrum Romantik exceeded our hopes in terms of the quality, the staff, the meals and the rooms. We booked three separate rooms (traveling with our adult kids) and each room was exceptional. We enjoyed the Michelin rated breakfast every day and tried their home brewed beers in the afternoon on the courtyard. The hotel is convenient being a block from the main square and they have easily accessible parking with the city walls a few blocks away. We will return to this hotel, it is charming authentic and with all the modern comforts we craved.

This is my 3rd time in this hotel, and it's just great! I just enjoyed the best breakfast I had so far in Europe with high-quality food, service, and presentation. I am here with my American born son and granddaughter to let them experience a touch of Europe, and this certainly covers it. I highly recommend this place

We really enjoyed our stay in Rothenburg and was greeted by friendly staff at Romantik. Our rooms were lovely. We were traveling with a family and had plenty of space. Breakfast was terrific and would highly recommend this place to stay.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of our 10 day Germany road trip On checking in no advice on the amenities, timing of breakfast etc and restaurant offerings. Room was ok but the floorboards creaked like the stairs - I appreciate it is an old building but even the bed and the toilet seat creaked!!!bed was uncomfortable, would not be able to tolerate more than a couple’s of nights. Woke around 5am to bins being emptied 😡 Breakfast, met with a scowl by the waitress, 3 times had to ask for milk for the tea. Found this hotel unwelcoming, no real charm and genuine atmosphere. It’s pretty much in the centre so thats probably the only plus point.
