Motel 6 Roswell, NM

Hotel was nice and clean staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints here!

Staff was ok- but the property itself is not as pictured. Main complaint is the bugs in the shower- very disgusting. Rooms are very basic; not even a coffee pot or hair dryer in the rooms. There is coffee in the lobby every morning, but that is very inconvenient. No place to keep your luggage or areas to really organize yourself. I will never stay here again- thought it would be better with the rooms on the inside, but that is very deceiving.

Foul….. stay anywhere else, a dumpster maybe your car. This place is rancid, there were cigarette burn holes in the comforters, the bathtub was stained brown for some reason, and roaches galore. The third floor elevators opened and cigarette smoke bellowed in like wildfire and almost took the family out. The front desk lady was great, but that is the ONLY thing. If you stay bring raid and a gas mask.

one of the better motel6 ive stayed at pretty nice b ut too much noise and too many smokers including STAFF OUT FRONT SMOKING TOO HOSTILE FOR DOGS PAWS UNACCEPTABLE!!

Guy at front desk was rude and made some uncalled for coments complaints have been made was a horriable stay

I was in the last room on the first floor and the door that goes outside does not close properly/all the way so it kept waking me up slamming. Also microwave was pretty gross and mold in clean shower. I decided not to shower there. I stopped observing the room after that scared of what i might find. You get what you pay for. The front desk staff was polite tho so theres that!

The smell of tobacco and illegal smoking substances was very strong in the stairwells. The outside key to the back entrance by the parking did not work. The electrical plugs in the room for charging devices and for the non-functioning fridge were not working. The bathroom was clean. The bed had a roll-away shoved into the corner. I dropped an item on the floor (hardwood) and under the bed was filthy with dust. at 4:50AM the fire alarm started going off. The fire department came. The staff did not come to the residential rooms to stay either it was a malfunction or an actual emergency. After 15 minutes of shrill ringing, we obviously couldn't sleep, so we left while it was still dark.

Will stay again if I am in Roswell. The staff was always available at the front desk and were friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable. I appreciated the daily cleaning and coming in to find my bed made. The location is also convenient/ withing walking distance of shopping, dining, walmart, gas staion, bank…. The pool was always clean and nice to relax,but the hot tub was out of order for the majority of my stay. No breakfast is offered, but there is fresh tea and coffee. Would highly recommend.

I liked this property because of the staff, they were very kind and accommodating when the room we originally booked was not cleaned upon check in and there were no more king size beds available. They even offer pool towels at the front desk so you don't have to use the towels from your room. The pool was nice but very cold and my husbands eyes were burning for a while because he made the mistake of opening his eyes under water. (Had a lot of chlorine) The first room they gave us was completely dirty, the bed was unmade and there was trash everywhere, I didn't even want to see the bathroom situation. Once we were moved to our new room on the first floor we were grateful, but very quickly our smiles kind of faded. The beds were clean but we found some mysterious little curly hairs on our pillows. The bathtub faucet was dripping and no matter how much we tightened it, it wouldn't stop dripping, It continued all day and night and we didn't want to let the staff know just out of pure exhaustion, driving for 8hrs we didn't care at that point. We never found a remote to the TV, not that we could find anyways, but we had our laptop so it wasn't a big deal. Overall I would say this place needs a little tune up, but the staff and maintenance people were super! They even got the hottub working while we were there.
