XXIV Domus Luxury Suites

Currently on a trip with my partner and we decided to book XXIV Domus Luxury Suites. We didn’t do a lot of research into the accommodation as it was kind of a last minute trip but when we arrived we found that the room is in a renovated apartment along with a few other rooms which is fine I had no issue with that until we started to hear everything the other guests were doing in their rooms next door. There is no soundproofing at all and it’s mentioned numerous times on *********** as being sound proof. Being woken up by other guests TV’s and phone calls was not something I was expecting from a pretty expensive room. I call it a room because that’s what it is, we booked the “junior suite with balcony” and I was surprised when we arrived to what just looked like a bog standard hotel room with a bathroom. At the very least a sitting area would be good to label the room a “suite”. The balcony was also a USP for us as it said on booking that there was a view, there’s not. Although the room is nice and will certainly do, the price of the trip wasn’t cheap and for the money we paid I’d expect the rooms to be as described online when I don’t think they could be further from the truth. In my opinion they are not luxury and they’re not suites. Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice space which will be fine, I just feel like we’ve been mislead on ***********. The XXIV Domus Average Rooms.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel et ne sommes pas déçus ! Nous avons tout d'abord été très bien accueillis, avec le sourire. Mon mari a oublié son tel dans le taxi, et notre hôte l'a rappelé pour gérer la situation (ce qui nous arrangeait bien ne parlant pas italien !) ; ils ont été très arrangeant en nous réservant le taxi pour repartir et surtout en nous laissant la clé pour pouvoir laisser nos bagages à l'accueil une fois la chambre rendue et jusqu'à notre départ. Une cafetière Nespresso à disposition ! un bon café pour démarrer la journée... belle situation à 15mn à pieds du Vatican, et à 30-40 mn du Colisée, donc tout peut se faire à pieds. Plusieurs restaurants très sympa dans la rue. Une jolie déco pour la chambre, et une literie ++ Après une journée de marche, nous avons dormi comme des bébé, car environnement plutôt calme également. Une belle expérience pour un séjour sans faute !
