We were really pleased with the location of the hotel, so convenient to get to different tourist attractions around the city and plenty of restaurants and cafés on the doorstep which is great.
We were not best pleased about the stairs situation, there was a lift but it was tiny and climbing all the stairs to get to our room did start to take its toll on us eventually. Also, there was no air conditioning in the room; yes, it’s February but for us Brits Italy was still very warm and it was difficult to sleep because the window would have to be open to let cool air in but then it was also very noisy. It would be nice to have some soft seating too in the room to make it feel more comfortable; the only place to sit was on the bed.

Excellent location, very pleasant and helpful staff, good amenities, excellent wifi, however as noted by others very noisy with little sound insulation, so slept earplugs. Still would go back.

I highly recommended this place because Andrea is excellent hostess who is charge at this hotel.He is reliable and professional person.
This place is small but enough to enjoy the piazza Farnese and Campo di Fiore

I will only stay at Mama home every trip to Rome ! I can’t believe how beautiful the hotel was and convenient.. plus they supplied all our transfers to our cruise from the airport to the back to the hotel back to the airport.. very affordable, it felt like a five star hotel..

The property was in such a great location and we had such an amazing view of the town square from our room. Rooms were cleaned every day unless told otherwise and it was a perfect size for sleeping, we spent most of the day touring so didn't really need a room much for anything else. Also, breakfast everyday at the restaurant next door was so convenient. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom is kind of open. There's a curtain covering the bed from the bathroom but if you walk around the bed or from the entrance, you can see into the bathroom. Just something to be mindful of but not an issue honestly if you're comfortable with your roomies!

This property is a hidden gem in our favorite area of Rome, Campo de’Fiori. Private, staff was responsive, friendly and patient. Next time we come to Rome, we’ll stay here again!
