Stayed for a week, all inclusive. Very clean comfy rooms, amazing chef and great food every day. Wide selection of meals across main restaurant, grill bar and pizzeria. Very friendly and welcoming service. The cherry on the cake is pool bar with great barman’s and lovely drinks. Special kudos to Juliano, his strawberry shots are heavenly tasty ☀️☺️🍸🩵🩵🩵

What a fantastic time we had while we were there. Apart from a overpriced supermarket within the hotel I don't have anything negative to say. We had a late arrival at the hotel, arriving about 3 in the morning. We were helped by the receptionist to settle in quickly and shown to our room promptly, where we had been left a roll and bottle of water in the fridge incase we were hungry. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner were one of the best I've experienced at a all-inclusive hotel. I can't comment on the lunch as we used the pizza bar and grecco grill during the day which were both superb, both with a lovely local member of staff on. The barstaff were also amazing and always made the effort to have conversation and made some really nice drinks. We travelled with our 7 Yr old and the animation team were great with him, doing lots of different activitys with him. The animation team were also great with the daytime events for older children/adults with the likes of darts, waterpolo and volley ball. The evening entertainment was great and enjoyed every night thoroughly. The aircon was brilliant in the room and cooled the room down quickly. The cleaners always done a brilliant job of cleaning the room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the area, as a family or a young/older couple. You won't be disappointed.

Hotel is excelent. But if you want to enjoy, go to pool bar in the morning and search for Vasilis barmen - you will be surprised with friendly service and unlimited fun. Vasilis have the key for your soul. We was here for a week and know wgat we are speaking about. Enjoy.

We have just come back from a 10 night stay at the Lydia Maris and we had a great time. The hotel is very clean and our room was a decent size. The towels were changed every day. The food was great with plenty of choices and the restaurant staff were on hand to serve drinks at the table. We found the staff in all areas of the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. The pool was great with entertainment at various times for those who wanted join in and the pool bar served a variety of drinks. The resort of Kolymbia has 3 beaches all within a 15 minute walk and there are a good variety of shops and bars within walking distance. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel with a good local service. It was our first time in Rhodes and would definitely go back. We had an amazing time at this wonderful resort and hotel.

Great holiday in Rhodes. First time here and would definitely come back again. Staff been amazing Julian and Christos at the pool bar are amazing. We shall meet again. Management very tentative and want to help when can. Pool, food all amazing. Highly recommended

We have just checked out of this hotel after 7 nights here, we think this is the perfect number of days to stay! The weather was incredible the whole time we were here which was a bonus! There is lots of shady places, seating everywhere and plenty of sunbeds to go round! However if you want good ones, we did get up at 7:30am to put our towels down as lots of people seemed to be up early! This was never an issue for us however😊The staff are all so friendly and happy to help always! We especially would like to mention the fantastic ‘Juliano’, he is out of this world, his customer service is spot on and he is so personable to the guests, making the best cocktails ever!! Thankyou to Juliano, he is an absolute credit to your team and made our stay even better! The food is good, we did find it a little repetitive and got a little bored of it by the last couple of days, however everything is well seasoned and the choice of everything is wonderful for both lunch and dinner. There is also a gyros bar and pizza bar, these were also delicious and open all day for variety! The room was spotless and well cleaned everyday! The whole hotel is extremely clean and well looked after always 😊 Overall we had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend for anyone, children or adults to come stay as it caters for everyone and ignore the bad reviews that have been left.

We stayed here in May. Can't fault the hotel at all. We booked a room with a private pool which was good. We had an issue the first night with the shower doors which we reported when we went for breakfast and had been fixed by the time we had got back to the room mid morning. Food was good for all meals and any issues with what was available was down to me being picky rather than the choice available. Was always something that I would eat. The Gyros at the Greco grill were always spot on. I will miss the staff at the hotel and the resort of Kolymbia in general as everyone was so friendly especially the lady who cleaned our room which was 210. I didn't see her name unfortunately but she was always cheerful and was trying to teach us Greek when she saw us and is a big credit to the hotel

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Lydia Maris. Yes the hotel is advertised as a 5* and I agree with other comments that it is not a 5* however the hotel is, on the whole, nice and clean and the food was really good all week. The negatives: the rooms were on the small side (we had 2 adults and 2 teenagers). There wasn't enough cupboard space and lacking in hangers so maybe buy some travel hangers. The kids food could have been a bit better with say more pizza in the main restaurant and or a burger option some of the days. The entertainment wasn't great. On one night they had bingo which would have been fun but there was a 10 euro charge for the game with the prize being 15 euros (would have made more sense to win the kitty). Not sure why they just didn't play bingo and have a bottle of something for the winner or just play for fun. The pop quiz was fun and everyone enjoyed that. The positives: Lovely food overall, lots of choice, drinks served at the table and coffee available at each meal. All areas were clean and tidy and there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. You can hire towels and change them every two days. The gym was decent with cardio kit and a few machines with barbell and bench and dumbbells. The staff were lovely and friendly and cleaned the room great everyday. The Pizza snack bar, i am told from the kids was good, and the kebab bar was also good and the staff cooked what you wanted fresh. The surrounding area was mixed with the main ***** lovely to walk around with plenty of shops, bars and a few places to eat etc. There are 3 beaches in walking distance. One which is left out of the hotel, pebble beach but with water sport activities. The other 2 are right from the hotel, sandy beaches, again with water sports and excellent views. All within 15 min walk. There was quite a lot of what seemed like fly tipped rubbish down the back roads on the way to the beach and generally unkept areas which was a shame. Also a few family members did get mosquito bites so come armed with repellent and creams. Although there is a Chemist local. Overall we had a lovely holiday and I would return despite the few minor points set out.

We had the most wonderful stay. Food really good and staff so helpful. The place is very clean it was just lovely. The staff work so hard, continually. Stayed for a week with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we had the best holiday. We wish we could do it all over again. We booked a swim up room which was lovely.

This is a honest and truthful review. No excuses or packdrill. Take no notice of the wingers negative reviews. Book it up 'Dano' Arrived at this hotel and was greeted by a friendly receptionist called 'T Sambika' (The Boss Lady) and was quickly booked in and showed to our room which was room 712. Lovely room, quiet location nice view from the balcony. Room made up every day with clean towels, sheets change every other day. No getting up at 6am in the morning to put towels on sun beds as there were plenty. If you don't want to sit arround the main pool with music playing there is a small quieter area. Main restaurant. Food plentiful with lots of variety for every taste. You will not go hungry. The main restaurant is kept clean and the tables are cleared very quickly and relaid ready for the next person. The restaurant staff are very efficient and frendly. My big thanks to 'Oupavio' and 'Itanariotis Siapos' for being so supportive as I was on crutches. Also Maria was always smilling. Greek restaurant upstairs in the day time with Gyros (Massive) and hot dogs. Pizza oven in the grounds with lots of toppings but you need to take a drink with you. Pool Bar serves usual A/I drinks and a variety of cocktails. You might have to wait a few minutes to get served by the Barman who works his socks off, always with a smile. Normal entertainment in the day time, Keep fit, Volleyball and darts etc. The pool is of a nice size with a childrens pool and a Jacuzzi. It is kept clean and the water is clear. The whole hotel is kept very clean and tidy by the hard working cleaning staff. Evening entertainment consists of different shows, Dancing girls, Greek dancers, Live music, and name that Tune and accasional Bingo. You can serve yourself with soft drinks, beer, Tea, coffee all day long in the show time area. Cakes available in the show time area at 4 o'clock. The small town is in walking distance with plenty of shops and a super market. The best beach is the one at the small port which is in walking distance with nice soft sand. There is a restaurant there which hire out sunbeds. It is well worth a visit also to the small Greek church at the port. A must is a visit to 'Seven Springs' on the bus,stops outside the hotel, 2.3 euros each way. On the trail to the springs you come across a Tunnel which you can walk through (Take beach shoes with you as it can be a little slipery) to see a nice surprise at the end of it. Well worth it effort. The bus stops outside the hotel and goes to Rhodes or Lindos, 4 Euros each way. Both worth a visit. Will rturn to this hotel in the near future. 'BOOK IT UP DANO'

Currently been here 24hours and must say it really isn't a 5 star hotel - more like a 3 star. I'm so disappointed and really wish I didn't book this hotel. We arrived at midnight and felt so unwelcome, was given a card and a time table and took to our room. No map of the hotel, no information to tell you were anything is. The paper with times for food and bar on was poor quality - silly comment I know but you expect 5 star great experience. The room is very dated, we are a married couple and have two twin beds pushed together with a gap down the middle. The food is fair, nothing fabulous about it, we have walked away from the buffet as it just wasn't appealing- do have to give sami at the gryo bar a lovely word as he is the only one that has really made us feel welcome and his gryo was great, especially with his own made sauce! I booked all inclusive to have lovely time and few nice cocktail- I was so disappointed when I found out that your everyday normal PinaColda cocktail isn't available and you would have to PAY!! €8 if I wanted one! Which I think is ridiculous in a so called 5 star hotel. Another extremely ridiculous thing - just ask for a water and you would have to PAY for a small bottle of water from the bar!!!!!! I thought all inclusive included water! Jez! Every other hotel I have been to water is free!!! So if you won't a 5* hotel experience do not come here!!!!

Absolutely not a 5 star hotel. The first room we were given was very dated, old worn furniture, very firm beds & pillows, tatty bedding. We were moved to a second room with a slightly bigger balcony but only 3 chairs for our family of 4. We settled on this room as they all appeared to be of similar poor standard. We started to unpack to find one of the children's beds crawling with ants! We again alerted reception & the room was sprayed with insect spray. We were also provided with matress toppers. Bed linen comprised of a sheet & old duvet ( bobbled & thread bare - no duvet cover) .The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom after each use. On entering the restaurant staff did not show us to a table, so we walked round & round each day looking for availability. Food was disappointing, cold, repetitive, not labelled, meat under cooked, wet plates, no plates, not replenished. Drinks were also served in wet plastic cups. Birds eating ingredients from the outdoor pizza cafe. I feel I have massively over paid for this holiday, the hotel should be rated 3 star not 5! The only pros were friendly staff & clean grounds.

Our stay at the Hotel Lydia Maris was all around great. We had the time of our lives. I can absolutely recommend booking an all inclusive visit. The bartender Vasilis is so nice and welcoming :) The best bartender I’ve ever met! We will come back!

This is a lovely hotel with great atmosphere and facilitates. The pace was super clean and the Staff were friendly & helpful even when I lost my room key, they replaced it free of charge with no fuss. The food was excellent most of the time and we could always find something we enjoyed from the menu. They provided a microwave if you wanted to heat it up. The restaurant staff were brilliant and Panagoitis when out of his way to make us feel welcome. The wine wasn't great but we enjoyed the beer and cocktails. The beds are a little too hard but our room was lovely and clean. Also the WIFI was very good. I got great coverage and was fast enough to stream TV shows. It's only a few minutes walk from the nearest beach and about 10 minutes walk from a really nice beach.
