Domaine de la Forêt

This hotel was SO disappointing, my Dad booked it for his 70th birthday and took the family away and it was just not what we had expected. Inflexible staff, dirty rooms and no clean towels, despite asking more than 5 times!! Location is good but the service lets this hotel down. Be warned!!

We spent a night at Domaine La Forêt in Remich. The room (a luxury one) was very nice - only 'side' comment is that the bathroom is a bit 'old' (especially the shower). Still, very nice. The room itself was very comfortable, despite being in front of the main road - thanks to good windows, we were not disturbing by the noise (of course, with the windows closed). The beds were fine; that a bit weird that the 'couette' is not a big one (in fact the king size bed is made of two twins beds). The restaurant for the dinner was great - the place was presenting well, and we took, the 6 courses dinner with wines. Every course was tasty and well presented. The staff was also very nice, with the hotel manager coming to say hello. Disappointing that the Chef wasn't coming to visit - most of the clients were staying at this hotel for the cuisine I believe. Side comment - we were invaded by small flies ... so we change table because of that. A tasty experience ! The breakfast was probably the weak part of the stay: not that much choice, and poor quality for the coffee (water coffee). The buffet looked empty when we went there, even if it was only 30 mins after its opening. So all in all, a nice place to stay for those willing to enjoy a 'simple' and 'tasty' stay.

Very nice hotel and restaurant in the beautiful surroundings of the Mosel. The food and wine pairing is excellent . The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice spacious clean rooms and a lovely wellness area. The owners are very friendly and make sure that customers are comfortable and satisfied.

Excellent restaurant with a very professional and experienced staff and the owner / manager paying a great attention the satisfaction of its customers. The hotel is pleasant and extremely clean. I’m spending here 2 nights with my son who is participating to the semi-iron man race. I recommend the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed or weekend stay at Domaine La Forêt during the IM 70.3 event in June. Prior to arrival an initial booking issue was quickly resolved and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing thanks to the cleanliness, the wellness and fitness rooms and certainly the friendly and professional manner of the staff who came in at dawn on Sunday morning to ensure that the athletes who stayed at the hotel could enjoy a proper breakfast early on race day. Although Remich over the years has failed to keep ruthless development at bay, pleasant forest trails on the hotel door step offer opportunities for a nice walk or jog. Whilst circumstances prevented us from enjoying some of the packages on offer by the hotel but we weren't disappointed with the dinner on Sunday evening. It was most enjoyable, as was the bottle of Pinot Gris (Bisenius-Krier) to which we treated ourselves. The menu is a little pricey, yes, but not extraordinarily so by Luxembourg standards and we weren't disappointed.

Très belle découverte, à la lisière d'une forêt. De l'hôtel, on a directement accès à de superbes balades et à un parcours sportif très bien aménagé. Très bon accueil, personnel sympathique et attentionné. Tout est très propre. Belle chambre avec balcon et bain balneo. Clim efficace. Literie parfaite. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Espace détente impeccable : piscine, saunas etc. et salle de gym bien équipée. Une cafetière dans la chambre aurait été un plus. Le bruit de circulation ne nous a pas du tout gêné. A souligner : alors que nous revenions trempés après une randonnée et qu'il pleuvait très fort, le jeune homme de l'accueil, est sorti pour nous proposer de venir nous changer au sec et nous a prêté des serviettes (nous avions pourtant déjà quitté l'hôtel). Bel exemple de professionnalisme. Nous y retournerons, sans doute en demi-pension.

C'était une première et nous y retournons ! Les emploemployés sont à l'écoute, sympathiques et même drôles :) La chambre est confortable et c'est très agréable d'avoir un balcon. L'espace SPA/ Wellness était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin. Bain turque, bain romain, piscine etc... Le restaurant est d'une excellente qualité ! Nous nous sommes régalé et c'était aussi bon pour le palais que beau pour les yeux.

Hotel restaurant La foret ne nous decoit jamais. Cela fait 23 ans que nous y venons et nous ne sommes jamais decu. Ce qui nous y fait revenir : toute l histoire familiale qui en fait un lieu unique avec une âme. En effet au Travers des annees nous avons pu suivre une belle partie de la transformation,ainsi que nos enfants. La famille prend soin de faire évoluer les lieux et la relève est la pour prendre le relais. Propreté irréprochable, bon accueil,personnel disponible et toujours à l écoute. Le nouveau chef assure très bien en cuisine.Extra. Rapport qualité prix très intéressant avec les formules proposées avec l accès au superbe wellness

l accueil est parfait bien que les chambres c est propre et confortable . Mais attention du pain encore congelé au petit déjeuner c est pas top dommage ! Mention très bien pour la piscine et les équipements! Facile de se rendre à pied au quai pour embarquement croisière . bon séjour sur Remich
